The Bartender may each night target a player, which will add a "Drunk" modifier to their role, causing feedback to any action of theirs used on a future night to go to another randomly selected player in the game.
I.e. if the Bartender targets a Cop on Night 1, the result to the Cop's investigation on Night 2 will be sent to a random player in the game that is not the Cop. Since roles that receive feedback would be confused at suddenly not receiving any feedback at all, the standard is to inform players at the beginning of the next day phase that they have been turned into a "Drunk". Alternatively, you can keep the Bartender's targets in the dark and merely choose to inform the roles in question that they did not receive any result to their night action, in which case you might want to word it similarly to if they had gotten roleblocked.
