Addressing the final 3 situation
To summarize, Darren Sanders placed a vote on "Yetl", which made Trash think he had voted for "Yeti". I.e. he wrote an L instead of I. This caused Trash, the final scum, to instantly vote Yeti in the belief that she'd won. This had a direct impact on the outcome of the game (and even seemingly changed it, as per Darren's own admission).

In this specific case, Darren Sanders abused the software to gain an in-game advantage that can be deemed unfair and not within the spirit of the game, as most would agree that games shouldn't be decided by anything except actual content and actual votes in a game. Any external factors or anyone taking advantage of loopholes should not impact the game.
