In this specific case a kill submission on any valid player in the game by the mafia (or even a randed kill) would have resulted in a mafia win! Making mafia play around a potential doctor wouldn't matter!
People perform night actions depending on how they are given information:

If you always end games after f8 mylo and doctor is dead then you spew information in future games that doctor is still alive. Mafia's choice of kills are different depending on the knowledge that a doctor is alive vs. isn't.

If mafia know the doctor is dead they will pick the top town person more times than not (or highest pr read). If they know the doctor is alive they metagame picking the person that isn't likely to be saved.

If they don't know either state it makes them more likely to run into the wrong line through either being careless, or metaing into the save.

Mafia are never supposed to 100% know if a pr is dead in this setup, which is why it only includes alignment flips. They should only know if the doctor is alive after a save happened.

Inches/feet weren't created by Americans. Also base 12 is such a better system as 5 is ugly, and 3 is nice.
    I already corrected my mistakes.

Also: May I introduce @Jaleb who will gladly provide flavour for next year's champs, writing about mathematical theorems on a level that University math students will still be able to learn from while the content will still be easily digestible for those of you still in high school.

Completed Mafia losing their vigilante d1 was a bit...

Mafia losing their vigilante d1 was a bit unfortunate for them, but they were able to redirect the Deli's (poisoner) action onto Benneh so 2 less people died in the cycle.

Creature won a vigilante prize night 1 from the event which he could use on night 2. It didn't appear that people were considering that as a possibility in the thread. Also, only 3 players submitted their scores. I'm not sure what happened there.

I was sad the parity cop never submitted actions with the fear of janitored players. And I feel it was a major part of the setup design. The ability to look at 2-3 different players' interactions should be enough. The restriction of no self checking stops just being a full cop as well as janitored stops the motive of just killing off any player, automatically discovering everyone's alignment.

TY for all the subs that stepped in so I didn't have to mod kill. 4 players got busy/had irl emergencies, along with 2 no-shows is a lot to handle.

Mafia Universe is a community hub for people who enjoy playing the forum variant of Mafia (also known as Werewolf). Role of the Day
Evil Mastermind

The Evil Mastermind is an independently aligned role who can potentially perform one of two night actions each night. If the Evil Mastermind does not already have a living Evil Minion, they can choose to recruit one (i.e. convert a player to share the same win condition as well as private communication privileges). If the Evil Mastermind does have an Evil Minion, they or their Evil Minion can kill someone. The Evil Mastermind shares the same win condition as a Serial Killer or a Cult.
