    Night 4

The Wooloos snoozed, innocent and vulnerable.

One Mareep in Wooloo's clothing lay awake, staring blankly at the ceiling.

It wasn't itchy. Its new Fluff Suit was made of quality materials.

It wasn't hot. Its new Fluff Suit was breezy and well-ventilated.

It wasn't wet. Its new Fluff Suit didn't have any Eiscues in it.

It barely felt anything at all.

The Mareep looked sorrowfully to its left at the nest beside it where its partner had once slept. Now it was empty. No one left to plot with. No one to laugh with. No more nighttime adventures across Galar. Nothing left to do but wait for dawn to usher in another day, to be spent alone.

With a soft, despairing bröööl, the Mareep sighed to itself, rolled over, and closed its eyes.

    Day 4

The Wahoo reconvened the next day ready to kick some fluffy Mareep Mob butt!!!

As the day drew on, rumours began to surface.

antialiasis had been seen consorting with a member of the Mareep Mob in secret.

antialiasis had been co-opting the carrier Butterfree system to send letters to her Mareep pen pal overseas.

antialiasis had been sneaking off at odd hours to offer prayers to the Fluffy Sheep Monster.

antialiasis had been smoking pot behind the garden shed.

Nobody knew where the rumours came from, but the Wooloos' minds were set. With this Mareep-sympathizing ruffian booted from their ranks, surely Postwick would know peace at last!

antialiasis was lynched. She was Meeeh?, Town Treestump.

Boquise twitched nervously. He decided that he should probably stop using the carrier Butterfrees to deliver letters to his long-distance girlfriend for a while.

Game Thread Night 3 The Wooloos snoozed peacefully,...

    Night 3

The Wooloos snoozed peacefully, bolstered by the knowledge that they had exposed a member of the Mareep Mob at last.

One Mareep shifted uncomfortably in its Fluff Suit. Though it had managed to avoid Logic's hypothermic fate, sharing its costume with an irate melting Eiscue was perhaps not the brightest idea it had ever had.

Once it was sure that all of the Wahoo had dropped off, the Mareep silently got to its feet and crept off to the nearby Galar Taxi post to take the next Corviknight to Stow-on-Side. There it carelessly shed its Fluff Suit, now sodden, sticky with Spinarak string, and ferociously pecked from the inside beyond repair. Its Eiscue companion gave it a fierce slap across the face with a fin before waddling off into the distance, cawing raucously.

The Mareep was now really and truly alone in the world.

Sighing to itself, it flopped down onto the sprawling savanna and sunned itself in the intense moonlight, at least able to enjoy the comforting warmth on its fur as it awaited the shipment of its replacement Fluff Suit.

It had a long day ahead of it tomorrow.

    Day 3

Tensions were high at the dawn of the third day, as the Wahoo realized their time was running short. Nervously the Wooloos glanced from one neighbour to another, desperately searching for a flash of uncovered blue skin, perhaps a tuft of yellow wool peeking out from beneath a Fluff Suit, any sign that could point to the Mareep lurking among them...

It took quite some time for the more vocal of the group to notice the single Wooloo huddled alone in a corner, trembling. The rest gathered around him, bleating suspiciously.

    "Baaah! ♪"

    "Meeeh?"

    "Flufff flufluf."

Logic did not reply. He shivered some more, and... was that a tinge of blue appearing on his face?

Not taking even a moment to consider alternative explanations, the Wahoo descended upon Logic, tearing frantically at his wooly coat with their tiny little teeth. Without warning, a freakin' Eiscue burst out from... no one was sure where, squawking indignantly. For a moment, the Wooloos just stared at it in silence, nonplussed.

Then a thready cry of triumph sounded through the air.

    "Numooo!"

Clumps of white fur were shedding from Logic's Fluff Suit. His right braid had fallen clean off, while the left hung only by a single thread of Spinarak string. The yellow wool beneath was slicked down to his skin, soaked through by the Eiscue's melted Ice Face. As all eyes locked on him, the Mareep gulped audibly.

Logic was lynched. He was Munmunmun..., Mafia Goon.

As one, the others charged toward Logic, buffeting the Mareep up onto their backs. Off they went, carting Logic back to the gate that had started this all, where they tossed him back into the Slumbering Weald with a deafening "Beh eh eh!". He did not return.

To this day, no one knows what became of the Eiscue.

    Night 2

    The Wooloos idled.

Two Mareep shifted uncomfortably in their silk-lined Fluff Suits. It was really hot outside, and the Spinarak string made the material even less breathable than it had been before.

Under the cover of the Wahoo's idle animations, the two silently got up and crept off a safe distance away to Circhester where they could wrangle up a couple of unsuspecting Eiscue. (They travelled there by Corviknight.)

"Mzzz?" asked one, skidding helplessly on the ice until its paws slipped out from beneath it.

"Beh eh eh!" replied the other smugly.

The two nodded at one another, satisfied with their grand plan, and settled down for a few hours to rest. As the sun started to creep back up over the horizon, they donned their Fluff Suits again, now shared with a couple of unfortunate Eiscue, and rejoined the Wahoo.

The Wooloos idled on, blissfully unaware of the nefarious plotting taking place around them...

    Day 2

The next day, the Wooloo Wahoo decided to try something different. Fine, perhaps true Wooloos were capable of making a variety of cute bleating noises. But surely no real Wooloo could fail to roll down a hill in a straight line!

So off they went to the summit of Postwick Mountain, a gently-sloping protuberance of land on a nearby farm. And one by one, the Wooloos rolled.

Unfortunately, they had failed to take into account Chemist1422's drinking problem.*

"Beh eh eh!" Chemist1422 bleated joyously as he tripped over a rock and tumbled sideways down Postwick Mountain, his seemingly-uncontrollable descent stopped only by a conveniently-placed tree root that got tangled up in his extremely fluffy wool coat.

Much to the relief of the nervous Mareep Mob, the Wahoo didn't see any need to finish the rest of the experiment.

Chemist1422 was lynched. He was Beh eh eh!, Town Treestump.

Under the cover of night, the two silently got up and crept off to a barn a safe distance away where they could shed their disguises and talk freely.

"Bröööl?" asked one, gratefully rolling on its back in the straw to soothe the itching.

"Määrp määrp," replied the other sagely.

    Day 1

    Postwick had seen better days.

The fields were dotted with patches of scorched earth where the Mareep Mob had made their beds, excess static frizzling from their wool with every snore. The remaining grass was sad and flattened, trampled over by careless Mareep feet. The streets were near-empty and the air was still: when faced with trouble, most of the Wooloo Wahoo had simply rolled away.

Only seven brave, plucky Wooloos remained. Exchanging coded messages via carrier Butterfrees, they agreed to meet in the center of town that day to discuss their plan of action.

    Nine Wooloos showed up.

"Mzzz... Mzzz..." snored one of the Wooloo loudly.

"Seize him!" cried another. "No true Wooloo would make such a noise!"

Bleating in panic, the Wooloos piled upon Boquise, tugging and biting at his fluffy coat in hopes of unmasking the Mareep beneath.

Boquise was lynched. He was Mzzz... Mzzz..., Town Treestump.

Exhausted from this minor kerfuffle, the Wooloos promptly fell asleep. Their tiny snores filled the air.
