it's hard to think of a name that perfectly captures the idea of not knowing the song you're singing or the names you're sending, but i still think caroler is fitting because i agree with Aquilla in p#27 that caroler fits the theme of "randomly goes to house and won't hear if not there." (so, caroler at least works fine with half the role) - and i sorta feel like the idea of it is less "i don't know what i'm singing" and more "i am delivering this to someone and this is a key part of my action"
i can get the sentiment of not wanting the Christmas-ish-themed bit though.
so maybe a name related to delivery? if you think of the idea of a Fedex deliverer who needs to get a signature for a package to give it to you and can't if you're not there. idk LOL
btw i stand by thinking it should be 5 names not 3 in forum mafia otherwise it's too powerful

yeah, Neo was deep day 1/2 but then sorta got in a position where the "while are you still alive?" question made it impossible for her to continue being deep and she sorta had to revert to power wolfing, meanwhile Vernon remained the deep wolf. great combo and awesome LYLO play, Vernon!

caroler at least has to target a villager (non-visiting) for it to work/be useful, mafia can manipulate it a lot
i agree it's better restricted/1-shot but people have generally enjoyed it in games i've found
(also it's part of a classic EM setup that i wanted to try running as a turbo sometime)
i think it's a fun restricted investigative role for PR madness (particularly when it's 5 names not 3 and at least one not exactly one)a lot of people have visiting roles in PR madness which weakens it significantly too

On MU Wiki it's apparently each night. On EM it was once per game, so I guess there's variations. I think once per game makes more sense because otherwise you'd mostly just be playing a flipless game until they died.

a caroler is a town role that selects a player to visit each night and sends them a list of names, at least one of which is mafia. i think the standard caroler is "3 names" but imo it's better if there's an option for up to 5 names if possible.
