If mafia gave me a real gun it means they expected me to shoot wrong. In this world, hydreigon or Kajot is town that they wanted to goad me into shooting because at the time I was given the gun those two were the ones I was harshest on. I don't know why 3P would give me the gun, or why 3P would have gunsmith abilities at all.

It could have been a weird gun that had a 50% chance of working and a 50% chance of backfiring and I lucked out. But in that scenario, mafia would have given it to someone with wrong reads anyway so either it kills them or it kills their wrong read. And even better it frames the person they were wrongly scumreading if it backfires.

I think the most likely reason for the gun is that one of Kajot/hydreigon is town - most likely hydreigon, since that was who I was attacking at the time?
