    Turnips are somewhat lighter than potatoes. So both would be delicious, but the benefit of turnips is that you're going to want to have dinner after your soup course whereas, with potato soup, you might feel quite full.
    I don't see how this is a benefit. If I already made soup, I don't want to cook a whole 'nother meal. I'd rather just make a potato leek soup and maybe some biscuits and call it a day.
    Potato leek soup is lock $%#!ing town

    Sure I got marcher wrong, thus far the rest of my reads look pretty decent so I’m not beating myself up about it. If I had more mafia in my town reads I’ll start worrying, so far they look pretty decent tho 🤷♀️

    Unless he got possessed tonight but so far I have seen exactly 0 signs of that and even if he is I still want to go for Nanook and Visor first.
    Do you think Visor pocketed Manti into claiming masons? Or are they both mafia?

    With the sunset the temperature plummets. Twenty caskets rise from the ice. They offer warmth, and you reluctantly climb into them. To stay out in the cold is to perish.
    Fwiw Nanook is currently the only person who managed to use the head to cut someone's head off and live though I don't think that exactly has anything to do with the swinger and more to do with the swingee.
    I suspect scum take someone with them whenever they die. You were told in your Hall that if you hit scum there would’ve been a fight, yeah? I’m guessing that’s what happened here.

    The fact that basically everybody who’s come into the thread today has stated “okay, Igno has to die” and given tacit approval and/or voted Igno doesn’t sit well with me, and it didn’t sit well with me yesterday when the Igno wagon blew up after I called out Jovian (who did flip Mafia)

    Jovian gained momentum at the end but there was definitely a DADV air before then, and it is unsettling enough to me that I want to use at least this first half, pre-caves, to push in other directions.

    I stayed above my reasons for this vote, I think Rhand is currently in the same boat that Jovian was in, so I think we just need to set fire to the whole boat tbh
    Are you seriously comparing the amount of content I have to Jovian?
    That’s... ouch?
    What makes you so indistinguishable from Jovian in your view? This is the second time you've taken issue at being painted as low impact so maybe you should consider that perception = reality in this circumstance if you are town and rather than be antagonised this time just try to help us find you town. The ball is rather in your court sir.
    Maybe I spent too much time trying to get El to refocus. I can’t stand it when faulty theories get pushed like gospel and I spent a lot of time trying to get him to stop doing that. I guess that makes my posts unremarkable if you’re not into that discussion? i dunno. I feel like I have had an impact outside of that too.

    ##Vote NANOOKTHECONQUEROR

    Nanook towncleared Jovian for the Walrus. Nanook assumed scum had their pm’s from the start while flavor heavily suggests otherwise. Visor and manti confirm that now (unless they’ve pulling a bad gambit).
    Nanook knew.

    Completed Sounds basically right

    Eckhs - I am currently thinking that they might just be slank town. My concerns with them are mostly based on POE. I have no specific issue with anything they have done. Towny POE.

    Esooa - Esooa had been town shielding me most of the game. Esooa notoriously tinfoils me when she is town. Like to the point of it pissing me off almost every game. She DID give me immunity but it was a choice between IAWY and I and if she made any other choice than one of us she'd have been outed so it's not really worth much. Then rather than following her top town (whether it was IAWY or I, we were both wanting Jovian), she suddenly just has this magical overwhelming desire to kill Ignoramus? Way sus. Way sus. Hell even if Igno is mafia, this can be read as too agenda driven and out of nowhere (for Nanook too), that it can be read like they just wanted to kill Ignoramus over Jovian as a bus. Given Jovian also played this game as a "pocket Mac" exercise, I have reservations in everyone who was shielding me in the early game when I really do think I was rather scummy. Scummy POE.

    Guillotina - Consistently Guillotina pushes based on things that blow my mind. The most random, irrelevant details are apparently majorly pingy to Guillotina. Intense tinfoil and constantly pushes onto town all damn game long. Pushed Capage hard, pushed HK, pushed El, pushed me. Failed to be on the right side of the chop again. This is probably just the definition of twbtwb. Wolves have the solve, they aren't this brutally inaccurate. Tbf Guillo did get pushed a fair bit by Jovian so we have to respect the distancing there too. I didn't read it as teammy. Today Guillo has been pretty towny and chill by previous standards, but this is just a town lean.

    Ignoramus - In our hall, I had narrowed it down to shooting between HK and Ignoramus. Ignoramus in hindsight should have been the shot. They were dodging questions. Reacting to comments without posting and otherwise just seemed to want to be anywhere else but there. Their vote on El at the end of d1 was diabolical. The fact that Igno and Jovian wagons lived almost all day on day 2 with near to no objection, and we managed to actually kill a wolf usually indicates that it was a w/w setup. That Jovian waited until the very last minute of the day, at a point where it was clearly too late, reinforces this. Several players today have said that Ignoramus is playing in their scum meta to boot. Easily scummy POE.

    IAWY - Buried Jovian. Been town. Been real town. Town.

    LordArgon - Their vote at EOD yesterday was so funny even Jovian found it funny. It was like Mr. Bean voting for mafia. They were very towny in the Hall when IAWY was probing them. They voted on the correct wagon. They have some good spew. I'm honestly comfortable giving them a straight town read.

    Mantichora - Polarising. I was in both discords with Manti. In discord 1 they were towny. They were banging on about being derpcleared for having no idea what was going on. In discord 2, they were active. Heavily triggered by Ace. Natural sounding. Very towny again. In thread they've been more or less a non factor outside of voting off wagon on both days. Of course there is this Mason thing. Now either it's just real, and they're both town. Or one is town and one is wolf. That is never a wolf/wolf claim. The mason thing is real. I feel like if it's town/wolf, the wolf is more likely to be Visor than Manti. I have them town lean.

    Michelle - Playing her own game. Has been pushed a bit. Nullish. Up until she gave Jovian spew reads which I loved and read towny. Town lean.

    Nanook - This is pro Mac, town Nanook. I know that might be hard to believe after yesterday. The certainty I have on this read is partly why I am confident Igno is mafia. Jovian also pushed him in a real non partnery way. But, Jovian is no schmo. Nanook is someone hard to lynch so is always a good option to push when you're up for some light distancing as a teammate. Very torn. I wanna say town lean. But I should say towny POE.

    Raskolnikov - The literal only reason I can town read this slot is that I have this weird feeling Visorslash TMI'd them town. Rask's day 1 vote was bad. Rask has pushed onto town a lot. Rask got their vote off Jovian at a critical moment yesterday. Their play in general has been mildly towny I suppose. For that I will say towny POE.

    Rhand - A complete and utter blank page. Jovian spoke to or of them exactly zero times. They voted on El d1 with a naked vote. They overreacted to me pinging them out d1. Scummy POE.

    Syn - Had some okay antispew to Jovian. Late voted on Jovian which is kinda weh but also teammates don't tend to like globbing onto teammate wagons late like that because they don't get the credit for it anyway so why bother. Their play EOD yesterday reminded me of the hydra game 8 Troy hydra's play. Just felt like an uninformed feeling like nobody was making sense and trying to refute perceived bad logic, but arriving to the wrong conclusion (though they voted right in the end so even though they were opposing our logic they globbed on anyway). Have really really liked their play today. Town.

    Visorslash - Visor was not towny really in the d1 cave at all. Visor has been pretty skewiff in the thread in the main but at times has been able to sound towny in the heat of the moment. Their votes have always felt agenda driven. Shielding Mantichora yesterday. The mason claim. Okay. Okay. This is the hardest slot to read. I wanna kill it honestly. Today they have this inexplicable Rask top town read, I really think there is legs to this tinfoil that the mason pairing is wolf/town and Visor is the wolf. @Mantichora is it at all possible I am right about this? Scum lean.

    Wisdom - Is spewed clear off Jovian as far as I'm concerned. She buried him d1 and d2. Voted there. Kept her vote there. Yeah nah I don't see her as a busser. Town, but I still believe she profiles as our most likely 3p.

    Current state:

    Town town

    @Inawordyes
    @Syn
    @LordArgon
    @Wisdom (but I am suspicious of them being the 3p)

    Lean town

    @Mantichora
    @Michelle

    Towny POE

    @Echks
    @NANOOKTHECONQUEROR
    @Raskolnikov

    There are ways this read could go wrong but I think it’s >rand correct so I’m basically only interested in looking in cave A today

    The thing is: it isn’t. It’s like talking about mechanics exclusively. That’s also not townie.
    Both of those give you reasons to post and be active without actually doing any solving.

    This read of yours is one of the reasons I think you’re not town.
    I don’t know what to tell you besides that you’re wrong, town are much more likely to run an impromptu walrus in thread and use it to rick roll people than mafia are

    Mostly the walrus
    Funny, I got the opposite read from it. Sure there were not much info on day 1, but to the point of not playing the mafia game and bringing something else into the thread? That's not a behavior I exect from town!MJ

    The walrus felt like something a storm fiend could do, not gonna lie. Mostly why I have him in my PoE still.

    Marcher because of the Walrus, right? Or is there more by now?
    Having a strong read on Michelle worries me. I have seen her in action as town and she’s capable of great things. She’s doing none of that here.

    Thinking more about the stone thing. You went in with Marcher while he wasn’t around, right? That would mean that if it was a real choice, Marcher would have not gotten a chance to receive it. I think you just happened to choose the person tim had also randomed.
    Largely, yes. Michelle can certainly be a good scum player, not denying that, I’ve had some success soul reading her before, and I think if she were scum she’d probably be pushing a bit more here. I think she’s just town without a ton of time and/or energy to put into the game.

    It’s possible we chose what tim randed, if that’s the case I don’t really understand why it didn’t trigger until syn accepted it. There’s also that it wasn’t TRULY random as presumably our group choices had some sort of effect on who received what, I would think. Like if syn and esooa had both been group a and you’d been in group b, I don’t think group b would’ve found nothing while syn and esooa both got stones.

    Idk maybe it was random, it certainly wasn’t written to appear so, and based on when/how it triggered it didn’t seem random to me. I’d like syn and/or marcher to weigh in too tho, maybe I just came in with an assumption it wouldn’t be and that’s coloring my impressions?

    Don’t act like I’m doing nothing else than pushing you.
    What are you doing apart from trying to catch a town clear?
    Well I’ve got a bunch of townreads and I think I’ve done a respectable amount of setup spec, at least some of which has been made public

    So there’s that
    Then prove me wrong and show some hunting?
    Setup spec is all nice and dandy, but mafia does that too. As well as calling people town and no one scum.
    Lol no

    I don’t really scum hunt that much, I’m much better at finding town and working from there

    If you assumed all tunnels were like that, then a whole bunch of people would be cleared to you.
    Including me lol.

    You had passed the alchemy book too, so you knew there was going to be a combining of items anyways. Walking out with the stone in your hand is not good incentive for townclearing you for not doing so.
    What are you talking about

    I wasn’t in the other tunnels to see how stuff happened, from the sounds of it nobody but esooa in your tunnel had a chance to grab it cause she took the initiative.

    It doesn’t clear anyone who didn’t take a stone, it clears me specifically given who I was in a tunnel with and that I 100% could’ve taken without it being at all weird or suspicious for me to do so if I were mafia.
