Even volunteering helped calm my nerves about needing to sub out more people.I was asked to offer myself as a sub during a moment that saw lots of no posters.
From that moment on, nobody else needed subbing out.
I'll pretend that my mere theoretical presence united all remaining players to do their part and finish the game properly.

Gira's case on Beskar was extremely goat.
Slam dunk that had spoiled dead cheering.
Stealing the Triforces from Hallia on N12 would have required her to select 2 night actions, neither of which were a strongman self protect against theft Night Action provided by the three triforces.
Scans and Wishes are tempting things, so it's maybe possible she selects those 2 powers instead of strongman self protect.
One usually tries to use the power they have as opposed to merely defend it.
The triforces combine into a single item when 3 of them are together, like the shards of shadow. In case it isn't clear how all 3 could be stolen at once.
Hypothetical Day Twelve Flavor
Today, the remaining citizens of Hyrule-Termina withstood a thunderstorm, as the slowly sinking moon crept ever closer to Clock Town.
A man seeking shelter from the storm camped out beneath the Clock Tower, in the room where the river ran beneath the village.
This man was a keeper of many secrets, in particular, a peculiar Mask that was thought to be the power behind a very ancient tribe.
However, he was unable to locate this mask, even though he was able to gather the four required remnants of other ancient evils. It seems that someone else had been able to locate it more quickly.
Still, having reunited these four precious masks, this man was able to meet his unfortunate fate with a particularly creepy grin on his face.
"Ho ho ho ho!" said the Happy Mask Salesman.
There were a few people left who accused the Salesman of being behind all the murders at night, summoning the monster, and dropping the moon from the sky.
Though opinion was sharply divided, a simple way to resolve the matter was devised.
Quite simply, the Happy Mask Salesman was led into the Treasure Chest Shop. If he opened a chest and it contained a gold rupee, he would become rich and be allowed to leave.
If he picked the wrong chest, he would be locked inside the Shop until the moon smashed into Termina, effectively killing him.
"Ho ho ho ho!" laughed the Happy Mask Salesman...
But it was not his lucky day.
And the dreaded moon fell further and further toward Clock Town.
This could be everyone's last night alive. Clearly, the Festival of Time was at a premature end.
Tomorrow is another day... but would there be any days after that?

Rhand was the Happy Mask Salesman, a noted Keeper of secrets and ancient masks. He was town-aligned.
He died with the following items in his possession:
- Bunny Hood
- Boomerang
- Hylian Shield
- Hookshot
- Farore's Wind Spell

- Odolwa's Remains Mask
- Goht's Remains Mask
- Gyorg's Remains Mask
- Twinmold Remains Mask
Since Rhand was voted the remains masks today, the Remains Masks will go to the Curiosity Shop to the highest bidder, as a set.
Everything else will go up for a vote tomorrow, as per standard procedure.

Mmm. I did a lot of explaining to beskar how his powers worked, but I was not able to suggest to him what his most powerful course of action was.
He would have to ask me how many times he can kill at maximum and he didn't ask. I said the boots meant he couldn't duplicate that action, whereas his itemless additional action had no such restrictions. And talked about which actions are boosted by the gauntlets and whatnot.
I also talked about how item based actions could be roleblocked, and one of his actions had to be done by him regardless, but he could do 3 attacks if two of them were factional and one was a bow or the master sword, and he wasnt level 2 blocked.
I did my best to answer all questions and explain complex mech to anyone who asked, but... it was a lot of help already. I felt it was necessary given how mind bendingly complex the game was.
Mis-explained how the bus driver worked to Rhand, for example. Even I got confused at times.
Ultimately, Beskar had enough power to steal all the medallions, achieve parity, or go for the 3 triforces combined on night 12, and didn't have enough power to do even 2 of those things. He had to choose, even with as much power as he had, he would have fallen short on 2 of those 3 goals, had he lived to Night 12.
At maximum firepower and with the best possible outcome for Beskar, probably not likely he can achieve 2 of those in a single night.
What he could do is steal the triforces from Hallia, and allow him and the neutrals to outvote the remaining, openly ally with them, and then obliterate town. But Parity and others who were town-side minded might have thrown him to the proverbial wolves if he did so.
We don't know.
But I did have 2 flavors written for EOD12, so if you wanna see how your doom would have been handled, Rhand...
Aldo was the original Link, it passed down to the most senior (lowest numbered) Hero of Time faction until they were gone, then it passed to hallia as she was the most powerful townie alive.

All the neutrals and even the lovers openly claiming all their cover roles really put a damper in the mafia's efforts to hide early on.
Especially when town uncharacteristically let neutrals live over and over.
Also @Rhand you goated with the bus drive because Visor and BSmith were well pocketed by Beskar and would have killed everyone but Beskar and hallia I believe. Ask them ofc.
Visor and BSmith rocked the game for their win condition which was so flagrantly anti town, which they claimed to people openly and they didnt punish them for it.
Balls of steel on both sides. Hey, the neutrals shot a mafia, so.... they earned their keep too. First one iirc?

It wasn't me, some wise townies voted you all of the triforces or let you take them without complaint.
You used the power wisely, no shooting willy nilly and your scans were all completely correct until you hit Beskar.
He was so up $%#! creek in the POE until that scan he kept requesting. But if you had managed to get the Triforce of Courage and then scanned him with the 3 united triforces he's dead meat then anyway.
Real quick, not INTENDED by the game designer, but a careful reading of the game rules about what ends the game, and the win conditions of all the alignments and factions, allows even competing factions for a single goal to achieve their faction goals, and there are two ways town and mafia can both win.
In the first, town gets the triforce and unholy relic combined on a single player for 3 days, while the Neutrals have NOT completed their goals. Then, town gets paranoid or whatever and yeets their own townie who won the game for them, and votes the combined triforce to a mafioso.
Then the mafioso wins the game, while the neutrals achieve what goals they can. When mafia wins, some of them probably lose. But town and mafia could both win at the same time.
In the second scenario, unlike most games, town doesn't lose at parity, because they can vig at night. The game rules never said anywhere anything about parity ending the game, that was solely a condition for the mafia team to achieve if they failed all other things.
In the endgame where Hallia has the triforces and obliterates Beskar after he achieves parity, technically town won all their objectives and so did mafia.
That isn't what I had in mind when I designed the game, but after a couple months of the rules and mechanics being posted and your role PMs being very clear what conditions win for you, I couldn't do anything but rule it as a valid way for the game to end.
It's the logical end result of the game not ending automatically at parity and neutrals having won but still being alive.
They don't HAVE to vote with town, or against town. They can vote sleep for all they care.
As long as Hallia protects some townies on Night 12 from death, the flavor proving they're innocent when beskar fails to kill them, or she vigs him overnight, or wishes for a Day Vig to use the next day....
Or votes Beskar to death the next day, or sleeps and Holy Annihilates him on Night 13, town can still win in all of those scenarios.
For town to lose, Beskar would need to convince the neutrals to yeet Hallia.
And the neutrals adored Hallia, so ask them I guess. But yeah, Hallia was nothing but nice to them and I mean Beskar kinda attacked them early on and was anti neutral a lot, but hey, memories are short and people forget ya know.
You never know what might have been.
But Beskar had three actions and was golden gauntlets powered with the master sword and factional attacking spells he only ever used once, so... he could have killed 3 townies solo on night 12.
Goat voting on Day 12 saved some asses there.
There is a lot of postgame commentary to do, and role PMs to reveal, and postgame discussion can begin.
If I had the Triforce, this is the wish I would ask of it, to you, the players and spectators.

Be kind to one another. Not everyone was, for much of the game. And I needed to intervene several times.
Generally speaking, if you're going to criticize someone, please do it respectfully or not at all.
Praising others for their good work is good.
Criticizing yourself is fine. Just be kind to others, that you may wish to play with them again in the future.
The Neutral factions survived the game, and won all of their objectives for the most part. The Darkness guys didn't hold courage for 7 full days but they did all the other stuff.
The Shadow folks achieved all their objectives easily.
Town achieves a $%#!ton of their objectives in many factions, and won by alignment just before it was too late.
Michelle Rhand and Gira in particular, of town, were very much GOATs on that last day. Wiggles had been onto Beskar as a suspect for a long time, GoldenTyranno also made the correct vote there.
Hallia had a chance to save the town from doom in a coinflip because she has Wish with the combined Triforce and Holy Annihilation as a power, Beskar could never hope to stop either thing.
Hallia could also win versus Beskar tomorrow during Day if a single townie survived besides her, so.
She achieved just enough power to be a backup if the coinflip didn't go in town's favor.
She also never took part in the killings at night which were requested by the neutral alliance, so even if her scan on the mafia godfather was faulty, she also scanned everyone else correctly and didn't vig townies.
Lots of folks who died and pointed at wolves did great.
The folks who hunted wolves and left the neutrals alone did great.
The folks that suspected the neutrals were probably going to be the death of this town were mostly correct, though from a spoiled perspective, most of them fought for town the entire game and helped bring down the mafia team as promised.
They, like many others, got hypnotized by Beskar, who goated the game for the wolf team.
Level 3 scans would have caught him.
He was also checkmated a bit earlier by Wiggles megaton hammering him at night while he still only had one action, and was up next for Hallia to fully scan as there was a plan for Hallia to get the Triforce of Courage and fully scan him.
That plan didn't go off because everyone agreed it wasn't necessary.... but it would have caught Beskar. Unable to act at night, no way to avoid a roleblock level 2, and fully scanned by Hallia, Beskar was caught.
Then a combination of the shadow temple giving him a second action, and him stealing Michelle's boots gave him a third action, and he got a massive load of rupees from having the Ocarina of Time.
I will go into detail more when it isn't near midnight my time.
I have scoring to do and more postgame commentary.
Will say, I screwed up way too much as a host this game with all the complex night actions, and I apologize for that, and also for the necessary modkill. I do not like that kinda stuff interfering with game balance.
That's on me, I should have run a tighter ship. Also the rules and mechanics were so complex barely anyone really understood them. If things went terribly and it was my fault, I'd be handing out no contests and draws here for my bad hosting.
Thankfully it's my last go for that, so I won't screw up any future games of yours.
I hope you managed to have fun, somehow.
Give Beskar your love, because he nearly came from behind to win like a triple impossible endgame and he kept fooling almost everyone in town for ages and ages and ages.
He really put it all on the line to give you a wolf that's hard to catch. If he fooled you for any length of time, I don't blame you.
He was a magnificent bastard, indeed. My kinda guy.
Thanks for sticking with this game which was a slog for much of it, and dealing with all the sub outs and nonsense, and heated days.

The Final Hours
As the hero played the Oath to Order, the four giants showed up and tried to stop the Moon.
The only issue, was that Majora had been unleashed, and possessed the power of the Unholy Relic. The undead armies swarmed through Clock Town, searching for the Relic.
The hero climbed the steps of the Clock Tower to meet Majora face to face at the top of the Clock Tower.
"Foolish Mortal . . .
DO YOU SEEK THE POWER OF DEATH?
You are brave to seek death from someone like me . . .
But if it is DEATH that you wish . . .
I CAN GRANT YOU YOUR WISH!!!"
Just then, the Hero of Time played a song on the sacred Ocarina.... Zelda's Lullaby.
With the power of the Triforce, Princess Zelda was summoned to Clock Town, and stood beside Link atop the Clock Tower, just as it was overrun with the foul corpses summoned by King Igos.
Using her sacred bow, Princess Zelda shot an Arrow of Light and struck the unholy abomination right in the hand, which dropped the Unholy Relic.
Majora, enraged, transformed into an otherworldly beast of chaos and shadow, gripped both the Hero of Time and the Princess of Destiny and tossed them from the top of the tower to Termina field, and prepared to consume them both.
MAJORA:
"I have the power to unmake creation.
I will consume the living . . .The Hero of Time rushed forward and struck the dark beast down with his Master Sword.
I will transform this world into a world of the undead, who shall worship me . . .
I have freed them all from their eternal slumber."
And Princess Zelda used the power of the combined Triforce to seal the being of chaos, destruction, darkness and shadow.
And with Ganon destroyed, and the Unholy Relic out of the hands of the evil one known as Majora, and both Ganon and Majora sealed by the power of the Goddess Hylia, the land of Hyrule-Termina was once again at peace.
All that was left was for the Hero of Time to make one more wish....
He placed his hands on the Triforce, and wished to the Goddess of Time that he could go back to the very beginning, and put a stop to all of this evil before it claimed the lives of so many innocent people. He wished that the Unholy Relic would be returned to the Goddess Hylia, to seal away its dark powers forever. And he wished that his friends would live a long, happy, and healthy life.
And the wish that was in his heart was finally granted.
TOWN VICTORY
Night Twelve
"So.... in the end, I am to be taken down by this... kid?" muttered the Sage of Light. "You want a piece of me? That's very funny."
Rauru stood up from the would-be mortal blow, and shrugged it off.
"You fool. Do you not know who you are dealing with? I am Ganondorf, King of Evil. And someday, I will rule this world. But I have to thank you, kid. Were it not for you, I'd never be able to open the Door of Time and enter the Sacred Realm. I wouldn't have found the location of all of the Triforces.
These toys are too much for you. I command you to return them to me. If you refuse, I will have to take them by force!"
A wave of unholy magic flowed forth from Ganondorf. The power of this magic was enhanced by the demigod Majora hovering high overhead, who was busy darkening the skies.
Chaos began to split the Triforce apart.... and the Triforce of Power was summoned to Ganondorf's side through overwhelming power.
"HA HA HA.... HA HA HA HA HA HA HAH!!!" boomed the mighty Ganondorf.
"Finally... I no longer have need of these trinkets." Ganondorf opened his cloak and tossed down the Master Sword, the Ocarina of Time, and the Sacred Medallions he had obtained.
Ganondorf soared into the air and began casting powerful unholy magic spells at the boy in the green tunic.
Rolling out of the way, the boy grasped the Master Sword and began to deflect them. But there was not enough time to stop both Ganondorf and Majora, without the united Triforce.
Ganondorf had been waiting for the Triforces to become united... he was hoping to steal them all at once. But for now, the Triforce of Power, his main goal, would do.
With it, Ganondorf was powerful enough to obliterate that pesky kid....
You know, once he ran out of fairy bottles, that is.
The boy in the green tunic could feel his power weakening. The power of chaos and unholy magic mixed with the glowing red Triforce and Ganondorf was more than a match for the two remaining triforces. This was as powerful as Ganondorf had ever been. Once he obtained the remaining two, he would become immortal, as foretold by destiny.
But high above, even above the Moon, and the demigod Majora.... much, much farther into the sky.... the Goddess Hylia was watching.... and stepped forward to uphold the Law.
"The vote is clear. This mortal has been judged according to the Law. You will return all that you have stolen... and meet with a most unfortunate fate."
The Triforce of Power vanished from Ganondorf's hand. Then the boy in the green tunic struck him down with the sacred blade, the Master Sword.
"No.... this cannot be.... CURSE YOU.... HYLIA!!! CURSE YOU.... CLOCK TOWN!!! ...and CURSE YOU, kid!"
The Goddess Hylia sent Ganondorf into the void between dimensions and sealed him away, where his soul would wither in darkness... forever.
Rushing to the middle of town, the boy with the green tunic, enhanced by the three sacred Triforces, picked up the Ocarina of Time and played the OATH TO ORDER.

Day Twelve Flavor
NIGHT OF THE FINAL DAY
12 hours remain
The Moon was falling closer and closer to Termina. It took up half of the night sky, and was starting to descend through the atmosphere, with radiant red flames bursting forth from the incredible speed of its descent and the friction of the air compressed below it.
The one wearing Majora's Mask laughed atop the Clock Tower.
"If it's something that can be stopped.... then just try and stop it!" he chuckled.
The bells of the Clock Tower continued to ring... slowly at first, then faster and faster as the moon descended, to warn everyone to try to escape if they could.
The people left in Clock Town knew that escape wasn't possible. But there was still time to figure out who the culprit was for the recent murders, and the summoning of the infernal dinosaur monster.
Fingers pointed, torches lit, pitchforks raised. There was some dispute as to which of the accused was truly guilty.
In the end, two of the accused were pushed forward. One of them had to be the guilty one.
The first person appeared to be an old, bearded man wearing holy robes. Another appeared to be a smiling man wearing a very large backpack full of masks.
"What is the meaning of this? I am Rauru, the Sage of Light! I am the keeper of the Sacred Realm, the last bastion of defense against Ganondorf!" protested Rauru.
"Does anyone happen to have my precious mask that was stolen from me?" asked the other man. "It is a very special mask. An ancient tribe is said to have almost brought the entire world to ruin with its forbidden powers. I seem to have misplaced it. Also, that mask may be responsible for the moon falling.... so, it would be a rather urgent matter for us to discuss..."
The Happy Mask Salesman pointed up at the falling moon. Yes, that did seem to be a problem, for sure.
"No, of far greater importance is that we must decide now which of us is secretly Ganondorf, the King of Evil!" argued Rauru, pointing his finger directly at the Happy Mask Salesman.
"I disagree... I believe we will all meet with an unfortunate fate unless we discover the whereabouts of Majora's Mask!"
From the shadows, a young lad wearing a green tunic emerged, wielding the treasured blade of the Kokiri. Recognizing Rauru, the young lad who didn't say much stood next to Rauru, a figure he was familiar with.
Many of the others stood and accused Rauru of being the evil sorceror Ganondorf.
Some others stood and accused the Happy Mask Salesman of bringing the doom upon them with the power of Majora's Mask.
But the law was clear, only one person could be lawfully executed in a single trial, and each and every trial was overseen by the Goddess Hylia from on high. The law is the law. Only one of these mysteries could be solved today. A decision had to be made.
The indecisive bunch left in Hyrule-Termina took a very long time to put the pieces together that made an accusation on Rauru possible. Others waved fingers at the Happy Mask Salesman, but failed to build a case that moved people.
In the end, some people stood together to throw the Salesman to the executioner, determined to pin it all on him.
However, others decided it was Rauru after all.
The young man in the green tunic appeared to be quite disappointed, and looked at his friend Rauru with sad eyes, and walked away, acquiescing to the outcome of the trial.
"The remains masks! I've found them all!" shouted the Happy Mask Salesman, as the results of the item vote were tallied. "They used to hold the power to make Majora's Mask appear.... but where is my most precious item? Did someone else use them?"
Others voted to give the boy in the green tunic a blue and shining stone which was triangular in shape. The boy recognized it... this was the Triforce of Courage.
As the boy touched the stone, it began to unite with the other Triforces.
Power... Wisdom... and Courage.
"What madness has taken over you people? You cannot possibly believe that I, Rauru, sacred guardian of the Sacred Realm could be responsible for these.... these atrocities!?"
But it was done. The fates had narrowly decided the outcome, and Rauru was accused.
"Hehehehahahaha....." chuckled the figure floating high above Clock Town, whose eyes were glowing orange. Then the figure stopped chuckling and noticed who it was who was being condemned to death today.
"What a shame. In another time, we... could have been.... friends...." remarked the floating figure, as the last bits of goodness finally drained from the mortal wielding Majora's Mask.
Fully possessed by the Mask, and tightly gripping the Unholy Relic, the power to unmake all of creation began to spill forth from the unholy being.
"I . . . WILL . . . CONSUME . . . EVERYTHING!!!"
Down below, the abomination darkening the sky was beginning to visibly take control of the Moon itself, but everyone was still focused on the trial and execution of Rauru, the Sage of Light.
"Look! Up above! That is who is behind all of this!!! If you will not destroy the Mask Salesman, at least vote to destroy the wielder of Majora's Mask!!! Quick, change your votes before it is too late to save Hyrule!"
Rauru the Sage of Light screamed in impotent fury at the citizens of Clock Town, as they left the clearly dangerous and obviously not aligned with Hyrule-Termina being in the sky alone to do whatever it wished.
"Will no one save me from these fools? My greatest wish... was never fulfilled...." remarked Rauru, dramatically accepting his fate as the Moon with glowing eyes began to fall even faster, possessed by an ancient demigod of pure chaos, Majora.
"I finally have what I have always wanted... the power to unmake creation!" remarked Majora.
Outside Clock Town, the undead armies of King Igos Du Ikana burst from the ground and rushed forward, to capture the relatively defenseless town now that most of its population had been killed or had deserted.
In the distance, Death Mountain erupted and Hyrule Castle was surrounded by incredibly hot magma. Who knows what was even happening to Hyrule Castle Town. Probably the whole place was taken over by Ganondorf at this rate.
Everything was spiralling toward armaggeddon, and Rauru, one of the sages who could potentially seal Ganondorf away forever, was put to the sword.
"Executioner.... off with his head!"
And the boy in the green tunic reluctantly took out the Kokiri sword and delivered a blow capable of defeating someone as powerful as Ganondorf, because he held all three Triforces.
"HI..... YAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Some housekeeping regarding rules and mechanics:
1) On chats
To discuss contents of any private chats- remember that they should be paraphrased, formatting omitted, and no copy and pasting particularly stuff I said.
2) What happens to voted items if the player is executed
If a person is voted items and dies in the same day those items will go to the Curiosity shop. Same if they are modkilled or otherwise die in the middle of the day rather than in the execution.
3) Scan mechanics
Post 10 of the game discusses scans, to clarify
Alignment scans can come from items, as well as inventory scans. Scanning items inherently have limitations, it's known that players have had scanning items and dropped them so I can discuss this without it being a surprise.
Typically a scanning item (at level 1) is a very weak scan. For inventory items, it will give you an item that the player has in their inventory, usually a hidden item if one existed or a major item or quest item, whatever is the highest priority item, unless you're looking for a specific item and say which item. Repeating the scan will give you a look at their inventory, which is why post 10 talks about consecutive scans.
A scanning for alignment item is similarly weak, it would give a faction name at level 1. A repeated scan would show a faction and alignment and be more accurate, but perhaps not infallible.
If a scanning item is boosted, say by an empowering item, or when two scanning items are linked together, then the scans go directly to level 2 and that saves a night of scanning. But there's a limitation on their scanning power, it takes more than just combining 2 scanning items together to reach level 3, and repeated scans won't necessarily reveal more information unless they were capable of reaching level 3.

One of the ways listed was if the triforces (3 main ones) are put together, it allows a perfect scan which reveals at level 3 a bit more than level 2, for example on inventory it would list rupees as well as describe what every item does. For alignment, if a cover faction is given, it would list that and give the real faction and alignment, as well as the win conditions of that alignment and faction.
If a scanning item is boosted+2 instead of boosted+1 then it can do level 3 scans. Certain empowering items do not stack, such as silver gauntlets combined with another item that empowers scans, both only empower +1 level and they don't stack.
It's possible a scanning item can be limited to only alignment or only inventory, it's possible an item can be limited in power to level 2 regardless because it starts at level 2. Inherent abilities can be affected by empowering items, if you have them.

Day Twelve
Night Eleven Flavor
A little old lady (Number Four) was heading home to Romani Ranch after a long day selling potions at the Potion Shop.
She had done her duty, so long as she was able. Contributing to the effort to save Hyrule-Termina in her own way.
On the road to Romani Ranch, she was approached by someone wielding the legendary Master Sword.
It was a one-sided fight. The holy blade caused enough damage to knock her out in one blow.
There was no illusion, the old lady simply faded from life.
Granny has been slain!
RIP Granny, the potion shop hag.
Elsewhere, another figure was out and about, in the middle of Termina field, when they were suddenly surrounded by a horde of undead monsters from the ground, on all sides.
This one (Number 28) readied weapons, and knew it would be a difficult fight. But the undead were summoned there merely to prevent escape. Rolling across Termina field came a dreaded beast of flame and armored might.
Someone or something had summoned these undead monsters, and the dreaded Infernal Dinosaur.
But rather than breathe fire upon its target, the great big giant beast simply grabbed the target within its powerful jaws and bit down hard, crushing the target between its massive bony teeth. Then the beast spit out this person, and curled into a ball, and rolled all over the crumpled corpse.
Slaying the target, the undead vanished, and the summoned monster King Dodongo vanished back to the space between dimensions.
After the monsters had left, a fairy escaped from a bottle, and sprinkled a little fairy magic all over Number 28, bringing them back to life... just barely.
King Dodongo rolled away, satisfied.
Elsewhere, a certain person (number 9) was out hunting for someone. Not only that, someone else was doing the same thing.
As they approached their target, and let loose their Holy Arrows, a gust of green and glowing wind suddenly transported one of the assailants toward their target, and the target vanished.
Struck first by their own empowered Light Arrow, the assailant was down.
A fairy in a bottle emerged and brought them back to life, only for the second Light Arrow to strike true, finishing them off.
Captain Shiro was slain.... or was it really Captain Shiro?
Captain Shiro... were you ever really there?
Professor Shikashi at the Astral Observatory completed his calculations, and was able to determine that, indeed the Moon high above Termina was beginning to descend... and it was only a matter of time before everyone would be obliterated by it. Time was running out.
The Professor grabbed his Fairy Bottle and rushed toward Clock Town to share this vital news with everyone.
But before he could even reach Clock Town, a figure hovered high above the town, with glowing eyes.
The hovering figure struck down Professor Shikashi with a very powerful Unholy spell.
The older man fell, spilling the contents of his Fairy Bottle. Brought back from the brink of death, he again rushed toward Clock Town.
The hovering figure held up a single hand, and a dark glowing purple triangular symbol began to glow...
Eyes glowing even brighter, orbs of swirling purple surrounded the being, and cast down once again a very powerful Unholy attack.
The older man was torn to shreds, and Professor Shikashi (number five) died before delivering the bad news.

In reality, Visorslash was Dark Link, an enigmatic entity that seemed to be constructed entirely out of darkness itself. Appearing to be a test for the hero of legend, Dark Link usually says nothing and simply mirrors your every move.
To defeat Dark Link is to defeat the darkness within yourself.
Appearing disinterested in the conflict between Hyrule-Termina and the forces of Destruction, Dark Link was a member of the Darkness Faction, and is Neutral Aligned.
The shadow of the hero of legend, this entity also carried upon him the Triforce of Courage, as well as various other useful items.
It would appear Dark Link was very interested in the Triforce of Courage, which is the same object that the Hero of Time is thought to be most closely associated with as well.

Everyone celebrated. Someone was bored with all the celebration and decided to see what would happen at the end of the day, so they spoke with Anju's Grandmother, commonly referred to as Granny.

And while listening to the story, they fell asleep and when they woke up, the day was already over.
And the moon hung lower in the sky... menacingly.

The man in the astral observatory looked at the cloudy skies, and at the moon, which had always been in the sky, with a strange glaring grin. It was definitely lower than usual.
Was the moon.... actually falling toward Termina? He did some calculations to make certain. But they wouldn't be completed until Night was over.

Throughout the Kingdom of Hyrule-Termina, the wailing of the undead grew louder, and their numbers increased. Everyone stayed inside the walls of Hyrule Castle town, and Clock Town. Kakariko village and other places without a protective wall had to be abandoned.
And the skies darkened and grew cloudy and threatening. The moon glared down upon the people of Hyrule, menacingly. Somehow, the Festival of Time would continue. But everyone was on edge.

South Clock Town
Another day passed, and the Festival of Time officially began. People from all over Hyrule-Termina gathered in Clock Town to celebrate. Things had been relatively peaceful, except for the sudden disappearance of that prominent Goron.
Darunia, leader of the Gorons and the Sage of Fire, had gone missing.
Normally, this would have been big news. But for whatever reason people were more enchanted with the Festival of Time, and they didn't let such bad news get them down.
Soon, they would celebrate their cares away. And hopefully, begin a new era of lasting peace.

After many nights of violence, tonight was a relatively peaceful night.
Now, Day Ten begins the Festival of Time, a four day long festival in celebration of the Goddess Hylia and the prosperity and peace in Hyrule-Termina.

Hyrule Castle Town Market
The people of Hyrule Castle Town were celebrating the imminent Festival of Time, which was scheduled to begin tomorrow. Everyone was out shopping.
"Please! With C! Sell me something! Please! With C!" said a very enthusiastic merchant in the corner, kneeling on a rug and slapping his knees along with the music.
Honey and Darling were spinning.... spinning.... spinning. Dancing their lives away in the middle of the market.
Mamamu Yan was looking for her beloved Richard, the cutest of puppies.
Professor Shikashi from the Astral Observatory was walking slowly through the market, looking for tasty delicious apples.
A little girl waved hello to the "fairy boy" who was curious to see Hyrule Castle. She said her father was probably sleeping after making a milk delivery.
The local merchants were overjoyed at the renewed interest in gambling and shopping.
In the back alley, a soldier lay in the streets, probably sleeping.
A big burly shirtless man in the Bazaar will sell you his nuts and twigs for a fine price, but only if you also purchase his heart.
There are shops that also sell bombs to nine year olds. Apparently there aren't many laws regarding commerce here in Hyrule.
And the mood had lightened to the point where people were sharing and talking and cooperating with one another again. People calmly and in an orderly manner decided what to do with the items up for a vote, and continued to try to preserve their lives by not executing people willy-nilly.
Many of the folks in the market were already drunk on the famous Chateau Romani that is probably quite alcoholic since they only sell it to adults at the Milk Bar in Clock Town.
As people cheered and danced and celebrated the highly anticipated Festival of Time, the sounds of merriment could be heard all the way to Hyrule Castle itself.

Once again, people decided to just sit down and be civilized for a little while. And it was nice.
One wonders if it were possible for such a peace to last. Time would tell if diplomacy and trust was the way to go.
For now, the Hyrule Market song would play on repeat for ten straight hours, because it's a banger, and we had to wait that long for the lazy game host to wake from his nap and say what happened.

Hyrule Castle Town Market
The people of Hyrule Castle Town were celebrating the imminent Festival of Time, which was scheduled to begin tomorrow. Everyone was out shopping.
"Please! With C! Sell me something! Please! With C!" said a very enthusiastic merchant in the corner, kneeling on a rug and slapping his knees along with the music.
Honey and Darling were spinning.... spinning.... spinning. Dancing their lives away in the middle of the market.
Mamamu Yan was looking for her beloved Richard, the cutest of puppies.
Professor Shikashi from the Astral Observatory was walking slowly through the market, looking for tasty delicious apples.
A little girl waved hello to the "fairy boy" who was curious to see Hyrule Castle. She said her father was probably sleeping after making a milk delivery.
The local merchants were overjoyed at the renewed interest in gambling and shopping.
In the back alley, a soldier lay in the streets, probably sleeping.
A big burly shirtless man in the Bazaar will sell you his nuts and twigs for a fine price, but only if you also purchase his heart.
There are shops that also sell bombs to nine year olds. Apparently there aren't many laws regarding commerce here in Hyrule.
And the mood had lightened to the point where people were sharing and talking and cooperating with one another again. People calmly and in an orderly manner decided what to do with the items up for a vote, and continued to try to preserve their lives by not executing people willy-nilly.
Many of the folks in the market were already drunk on the famous Chateau Romani that is probably quite alcoholic since they only sell it to adults at the Milk Bar in Clock Town.
As people cheered and danced and celebrated the highly anticipated Festival of Time, the sounds of merriment could be heard all the way to Hyrule Castle itself.

Once again, people decided to just sit down and be civilized for a little while. And it was nice.
One wonders if it were possible for such a peace to last. Time would tell if diplomacy and trust was the way to go.
For now, the Hyrule Market song would play on repeat for ten straight hours, because it's a banger, and we had to wait that long for the lazy game host to wake from his nap and say what happened.
Sure vote sleep after I go to bed, lol

The keys to the Door of Time have been found!
East Clock Town
Mayor Dotour (Number Twelve), distraught over the death of his wife and the disappearance of his son, still wounded from previous attacks, took one last stroll around Clock Town.
He knew based on history he was likely to be attacked again.
As Mayor of Clock Town, even though he didn't appear to be much in terms of physicality, he always wore sturdy leather clothing. Mayors sometimes have to deal with political extremists, after all, and the Clock Town Guard took no chances. So, he was sturdier than your average Terminan citizen. But there was realistically not a whole lot that could have stopped tonight's attack.
Sitting high above Clock Town, at the top of the clock tower, a masked figure with glowing orange eyes.
Tick.... Tock....
Tick.... Tock....
"Heyahahaha....."
Two more figures, cloaked and their faces covered, appeared on opposite sides, and fired their brilliant shining Light Arrows at Mayor Dotour, stunning him and fatally wounding him.
It was all over. The two assailants fled.
The third assailant sat on the clock tower and looked up at the sky.
"If it's something that can be stopped... then try to stop it.
...Heyahahaha....."

The third, masked assailant called upon the powers of an ancient evil and struck down Mayor Dotour right in the middle of town.
A powerful unholy spell ripped Mayor Dotour's already fatally wounded body apart, even though most of its dark energy scattered from a magical charm worn around his neck.
"Hehehahahaha.... well.
Even if they were to come, they wouldn't be able to handle me..."

He is Mayor Dotour, a member of the Clock Town faction and is Town-Aligned!
Mayor Dotour's family was powerful and wealthy, and started off better protected than the average person, but it still wasn't enough to keep him alive.
