Someone here really needs to learn how to count the votes.
How many of you are willing to get back on the Fairy wagon? I know there's Lilypetal and OUTM, but who else can I count on here? Maybe I can count on Haze.
But, aaa. I'm the mafia. Why aren't you voting me?
Any world where I gain three votes.
OUTM, at this point, you'll want to consider whether Fairy or myself are worth voting. I'm not above voting you for self-preservation if it comes down to it.
Been a fan of Alice /in Borderland even before it was a Netflix series.
I nominate Julia because she scares me in general.
Wonder how many games I'm going to finish by the time this lonely game is done. By the time this game was starting, I was already getting into Resident Evil 0. Now I'm already done with Resident Evil 4. Just need to finish up the extra content.
Why do I feel like you're just repeating what I'm saying for town points?
I remember his reaction back when his wagon and my wagon were itching for the top on D4(?). He backed off on me after I reminded him that wagonomics may work against him or myself if either of us were yeeted. Although he told me that he backed off for different reasons. Reasons he's kept to himself.
That's why I said "recently so far" and he's "one of the more reserved players in this game." Obviously he can't beat Axelrod or Orange in this game, and he's neither a Fontana, Aaa, or a Kuti. His playstyle has taken a change compared to his earlier "We vote X, because Y never comes from a town perspective" days.
I should just get that wine cooler bottle in the back of the fridge that I've been holding off on.
Here's what I think of OUTM recently so far. From what I remember, OUTM has claimed that my behavior is likely to be from a town than from a mafioso. In a game like this, and taken at face value, I'm more likely to believe this stance toward me is based on intuition when he compares my gameplay against the rest of the table as a whole. Him questioning Aaa and Fairy may put him in a position that's open to voting me, especially after his switched vote on Wes pushed me up as a top wagon tied with Wes and Fairy. However, I like to believe that OUTM is aware that both Aaa and Fairy have had a headstrong approach to the game, or don't have a obviously convincing reasoning to vote for me. It wouldn't be too hard to believe they're town player, when they show a confidence that admits not being backed up by the best of reasonings. I mean this more so toward Aaa than Fairy, Fairy's recent behavior has been more meh.
The reason why I'm leaning on this theory is because OUTM has struck me as one of the more reserved players in this game imo - someone who is more likely to sit back a bit before acting with confidence.
I think Wes has made the best inquiry we've had in the last two months. I'm actually curious about this as well, especially after OUTM jumped off the Fairy top-wagon of 3 votes to make a third top wagon on Wes. This decision was what put Fairy, myself, and Wes tied as the top wagons with 2 votes each.
What. But gummies are meant to be chewable. Why are you swallowing them whole?
I actually make a habit to take vitamins in the evening. Been doing this since I was a kid. I used to eat these nasty things that would mix flavors if you left them in the bottle too long. Now there's these fruit-flavored gummies they sell off shelves. Times change.
At the time, I had my suspicions. My theory is something I wanted to test out. That's all it is to me. I've said it before that I don't care whether or not I'm right or wrong, I just want to apply what I see and go from there. You fit the bill as someone who wears their heart on their sleeve when riled up. I wrote in a way to egg you on, because I knew you would respond back if I directed a case against you, no matter how good or how worse it was. Personally, I didn't really care if I had a point against you or not, I just wanted to see how you would respond. You responded decently enough, long enough, and even voted me. That works enough for me to focus on other people.
It's easier for me to make a case against you than, say, someone like Fairy who I believe has dipped in and out of the game enough to fly under my radar. They haven't responded well to a lot of jabs I've made toward them. Not so much that he's mafia, but because he's been ambiguous enough to give me clarity toward one alignment or the other. He's not giving me the information I want so far. That vote on me alone doesn't tell me much.
Meanwhile, making a case against Haze would require me to buy the same drugs they take.
Yes. And it sucks, because my gut tells me that level of detachment is town-indicative, but Fairy hasn't been around to explain himself for my gut.
I'm not focused on you and I've even stated several times that you're not the best person compared to others. That's not even mentioning the fact I have a reaction read on you that's likely town. Although if you guys do actually put over, at least I have no more of an obligation to this game. You guys would find me another way to "win" at this game.
Maybe if we keep bumping it, it eventually will.
That said, Orange's town equity goes down the longer this game drags on. Not having a position or any strong opinions on even a nibble of content doesn't give you much in town points.
Tempting, but no. The only benefit I could see is to pressure Orange into doing something, but that's unreliable in a game that's paced itself like this.
How much interest are we talking here?
I imagine this game being done.
My favorite card in this game was the skelet/in army.
I used to play this game back when it came out. It was fun until I realized the meta was waiting for your opponent to make a move first, because acting first put you /in a disadvantage.
I'm more worried about Fairy's lack of posting despite their wagon fighting for the top.
Sorry, I completely forgot about this turbo. Instead, I watched the Minions movie and played Resident Evil 3 after.
We should be playing normal games /instead.
I used to proofread people's papers for money and for other favors back in high school. Another time a college professor asked me to do a job for his book, back when I worked for the faculty. To be honest, I was under-qualified for the job and he only paid me $12 bucks for the two hours I put in. He got what he paid for. He gave me a gift mug, so I guess we're square.
Go Tell It on the Mountain.
Thank you, host. Sadly, I have no love for this mountain.
Must be the oxygen levels.
I went to my friend's house yesterday for a birthday get-together. We also watched the Superbowl. I don't really care about the Superbowl, but I might as well show an interest to watch it together. Last thing I'd like to say is, "Hey, can we change the channel to something else? I'm bored." Earlier that day, my friend was pretty ecstatic to get my gift. He told me he was getting back into trading card games, so I got him a structure deck that I knew he would love. But another friend of mine later gave him the same gift, except it had more cards. More cards. Sure they weren't the same cards, but there were more cards. My god, he spent more. It made me think that I should have spent more. Somehow I felt jealous. Can you believe that?
Other than that, it was a pretty good birthday spent with good friends.
Orange, you had a bit over a month to get some semblance of reads together for D5. Let's not forget that this game has been ongoing since late October. If you're not going to vote, then put out some reads. I don't care if someone's just your gutread or not. Talk about, whack it, but at least put some observations into words. Otherwise, we're going to await another month of "I need more time" and "please unvote thank you."
On the off-chance Wesmaster flips mafia, I'll remember that Lilypetal unvoted Wes at L-1. Let's also put it on record here that I don't intend to vote Wes anytime soon. I also don't see even a low possibility that I will vote for Wes during this entire D5.
On an unrelated note, I was playing a game of Dead by Daylight. I did pretty decent as the Killer role in the game. There was a twitch streamer in that game, so I decided to look over the stream after the game to see how I did. I did pretty decent, save for a few bad calls. What disappointed me was that the streamer and a few of her audience thought I was cheating. I think they thought I was streamsniping. It made me disappointed that people were frustrated about that. In all honesty, it might have been better to leave things alone, but I went in the stream chat to explain myself. I did it as nicely as I thought I could put it and I tried carefully not to push the blame on any of us.
Unfortunately, I got the expected result. The response I got wasn't mean or anything. It was more like a "Okay, but you did something suspicious, you even have a private steam profile, and I'm not going to dwell on past games" kind of response. I can't say this response satisfied me, but I thought it would be especially stepping my boundaries on the stream chat to respond back after I had already said my goodbyes. In hindsight, she was right about how it's a past game and how she shouldn't think about it. She was even playing a different game when I brought this up. I should have probably done the same thing. In fact, it may have been more appropriate to comment on her steam profile page rather than on the twitch stream. And I'm not going to lie, I was more interested in hearing a personal voiced response than getting a comment back.
Anyway, I just wanted to vent my thoughts here. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me up at night after all.
Personally, I think I have the best track record, and am more likely to have the best solve in this game because of it. I've correctly townread a lot of people when it counted before they died. What sucks is that I can't prove anything until I die or until this game is over. I bet you probably think similar to me, OUTM.
Aaa's only town point for me is that dismissive attitude they've put on whenever they accuse someone. That speaks to me on a similar but lower Fontana level. It's literally a "$%#! off" attitude that's anti-town enough for a town to get into when they're both convinced and frustration. They play as if they believe whatever they believe, even though their voting history shows they've switched off many different people. Other than that, I can never consider aaa as someone cooperative in this game.
OUTM, I'm assuming that I read your posts right and that you think a Wes/Haze partnership can be a thing. If you're voting Wes because you believe Wes is wolfy-defending Haze, then I'm going to tell you that I don't believe that's a good argument to make until one of them flips wolf.
I am bias. Not going to lie. I agree with Wes's defense of Haze, but only for Haze as the player, and not for their goofiness as a town indicator. Never played with Haze before. If I did, then I don't remember. I sincerely believe that Haze has been drugged throughout this entire game and doesn't understand why we even talk here. For all I know, they may have mistaken this forum for their local pharmacy.
You wouldn't be wrong to say that a wolf!Haze could be flying under the radar by earning derp points, and Wes is defending Haze by pointing out these derp points. Assuming you're town, I think you're just applying confirmation bias here. You see a partnership and you want it to be right, even though you know that your proof requires us to flip both slots for you. I think pointing out that Haze could be playing wolfy while also acknowledging that Haze has rarely stepped out of the POE for at least half the table defeats your whole point toward a Wes/Haze partnership.
Prince J and King Bowser.
I had a bit of a drinky earlier, but ended up showing before I could brag about it.
The mountain doesn't exist. It can't freeze you.
OUTM, Orangeandblack5, and Oilypetal are the wolf team. For certain.
Lily might as well be spelled Oily with how I've been mixing up OUTM and Orange for her.
Not really, because I have a lot of experience committing to this angle and identifying people against this angle. Why else do you think I've been able to correctly townread Kuti and Vandy? Or D1 Fontana and Axelrod when people were thinking one of them could be wolfy defensive? I'm either good, lucky, or just a wolf.
Then maybe I'm confusing OUTM and Orange for someone else. Someone who doesn't start with an "O."
TWTBAW is an angle.
If someone has a case against OUTM that isn't a gutread, then let me know. If not, then maybe I'll bother to read every OUTM post. Earlier I thought OUTM townread Haze strongly enough to defend them on D4, but P#9269 has me thinking I'm mistaken. I probably mixed up OUTM for Orange.
Again, someone - probably Orange - should convince me why Haze is town outside of metareads. The one thing I'm willing to give to Haze is that Haze always enters the conversation like they're playing a different game. We're playing Mafia and they're busy playing Snakes and Ladders. I rather have a case that's dependent on this game and not on metaknowledge, please. I don't think I've played a game with Haze outside of a mash, or any other game at all.
