A big thank you to to @LordQuas and @Lissa for hosting and running the game - it was HUGE! I can’t imagine all the work that went into this (the events alone seemed like a lot of work to me and the additional role-flipping during ITAs and night ends blew me away).

Excuse my avatar, I'm being punished for bad reads.

    New (?) Update
Over the past few days I wrote a script that scraped the old Database (the one that still has links in the site header and in users' profiles) and insert that data into the new database.

The new database is now as complete as automation can make it.

There are 1980 game files in the new database.

But all is not done. Almost all of those games that I updated were missing information the old system did not have. Information like what actions go with what roles. What the role names mean. What phase a game ended on. If a game had teams, or was a multiball. Any game with an SK win. What date a game ended on. And so on.

The main data will still be there, namely who wins -- unless the game had an SK win or a Mafia win in a multiball game.

If anyone would like to help tidy up the database, please contact me or a member of the moderation team. You can do just one one game or you can do a hundred, every little bit helps.

Yes. I don't understand the second one.
Modbot stops you from removing things with {} tags, and there isnt really a way to add those unless you already know that they exist, making advance modification pretty accessible.

For example, sometimes I want to remove the {RANDED COLOR} tags from role cards in auto games. The hide from role PM tag existing would be a good enough alternative for me, personally.
I can add buttons for those in the editor, I guess.

So if you can, please make again that an ISO started from a certain post to have that post appearing on screen as result of the search, in the middle of the ISO, to scroll down and read the ISO from that post onward (and to scroll up for previous posts).

I checked and if i pick a post from the 1st page of the Iso, pressing the ISO of the post is going to top page 1 of Iso. I am using the 100 posts per page.

if i pick up from page 2 is working like you said.

I'm completely fine with this. This would allow me to move towards my win condition. It has nothing to do with a grudge or spite at all, it's solely to policy lynch someone that I know (or heavily suspect) will be anti-town.

Unfortunately Makaze, this is not what I was told by the moderators. They explicitly told me that I could not policy lynch someone for being bad in previous games, even if I was doing it in a grudgeless way. So unless you just unlitaterally overruled the policy of the mods, there is still discussion to be done.
Unfortunately for you, the moderators judged that your behavior was indeed approaching a grudge, and needed to be stopped before it became a full blown problem. That is what sparked this policy's creation in the first place. Based on what I have seen, it is a correct judgment. You have deep seated resentments toward the person you are describing and have decided to take it upon yourself to erase them from your games regardless of their alignment in your game.

I'm not going to tip toe around it with fancy definitions. You have a grudge. You are policy lynching because of a grudge. You have convinced yourself that it is best for everyone to get rid of them, but that is not actually a win condition risk assessment. It's a result of your own personal frustration at the person. You have lost sight of the fact that this person is not going to lose you the game if you just let it go. You have not assessed that possibility. You have decided that you will control them at any cost, including losing the game.

The correct course of action in these cases is to become so undeniably good at the game that you can find a way to make them a valuable asset to your team, or at least read them correctly as town, get everyone else to read them as town, and then ignore them, since a universal town clear that will not be good for mislynches will be killed by the mafia anyway.

But you have resigned yourself to lie about your motives, pretend you think they are mafia, not care that they are mafia, and just eliminate them on the principle that you can't control their behavior.

You have only yourself to blame at that point.
I have no idea why you are airing out moderator instruction with me to the general public.

I also didn't receive this information from the mods at all. I was not told I held a grudge with someone. I was told that there was a new policy (as outlined). If it was a me specifically thing with one other person, then they should have told me that and I could have given details on why the people I want to policy lynch should be policy lynched with logical facts and reasoning. Don't blame me for the mod's (apparent) shortcomings. @Makaze
This isn't a moderator instruction, I always have to check myself when I speak.

This is entirely acceptable and doesn't read anything like what I had heard up to this point lol
Only because people have decided to try and codify it with legalistic wording and make it out like what they are doing isn't that petty. When the people who get called out turn to a legal-style defense, it tends to make everyone talk that way.

Legalistic wording is a waste of time, at least where it concerns this thread.
