It's over, let's move on and put this behind us. We're still in a great position, so let's try and make this our last elimination for a while. Here is the current plan. We've got time, so please let me know if you have any other ideas.Lukess to Location 3 zergon and Leion to 10 Destiny to 11 Rev to 19 markisprettyok boil and bottle water ignoramus fish
Maybe you could me farther away? I mean
I got pretty high endurance, so that might help
But no objections otherwise, sir!
$%#! I forgot to share these: Mental: 71.0 Physical: 63.5 Endurance: 97.0 Health: 150
Those look really good actually!
thanks!
A vote for nobody is a vote for me. :P
But it's okay Ig. I get where you're coming from. Because I didn't really want to vote anyone either until Mark and Rev made a big deal about my earlier post when I was trying to invoke discussion.
We were all pretty unified and getting along well up until then.
uh oh
okay! so!
only going to vote for Revenant as a way to make the votes tied. Please tell me if this method doesn't stop an elimination from happening.

I'd like to hear from everyone.
Honestly got no idea who to vote
I'd rather leave my vote unused given that I feel that everyone's contributed enough
If you do that it will count as a vote for yourself.
I know
Still a better choice than having to vote for another person, in my opinion
I can see were you coming from with this and honestly, I kind of feel the same. That said, I think we should always play towards our win condition and in this one, that´s being only one left standing so while we are a team now, at some point (hopefully only at the very end) it´s going to broke into everyone for himself race. So while I don´t really like it either, I am going to put my vote on someone at the end of the day just because I feel that´s what I´m supposed to do as a player.

Whilst this will eventually be every man for himself I also feel it's important that we work together as a team for as long as we can do we can win as many challenges as possible. I continue to back you fully as leader.

I'm OK with both approaches but I don't want this to turn into an argument in thread. If need be we can make our opinions known and then go ahead and vote privately. I'll be around sporadically today whilst at work if anybody has any questions for me.
Nobody's arguing.
I'm okay with voting wherever. Id rather come to a group decision than just cast my vote for someone and see what happens.
Even if that vote is for me.
But if you guys just want it to be completely private and not talk about it thats fine. Just not what I wanted to do.
I agree that it would be nice to come to a group consensus. Personally I'll wait to see what our leader has to say before placing a vote.

I'm looking at 3/10/11/19 today, leaving two folks back one to bottle us up some water and another to do some more fishing.
We have to leave out 4 different people today from the challenges, just have to decide who and for which challenge.
I'm leaning towards leaving out myself and @zergon from the treasure challenge and @lukess1 and whoever Greg is.
I'm Colleen btw, just figured I'd get it out there. I'll put myself on the stretcher.

No one claimed yet. I'm Greg Buis, and I got my metric. My strength is okay but my endurance is pretty high.
I can sit out, but I feel like my endurance could help quite a bit.

Morning everyone. As always I'm happy to lead this one.
Morning! Who do you think should sit this one out?
I'm pretty sure lukesss isn't very physically able and I believe you also said that you weren't the best in that department so perhaps the two of you.
I've finally gotten my metrics, and I think my character's endurance is high enough to participate, or maybe even be one of the first, in both events.
I thought, at first, that my character's strength more or less was tied to my strength, so I said that I couldn't go very far. Sorry for the confusion.

No problem, but I can't see how Wayward would know what your personal strength is when deciding the outcome of challenges.

I wonder if we can get mouthwash to remove the taste
Do you know of a local and natural alternative we can use?
In all seriousness, the campmates must have been allowed to bring basic toiletries right?
Don't think we can make mouthwash by ourselves, I'm afraid. Some materials needed for it aren't available here.
And maybe? Not very sure, since the survivors in the TV show don't seem to have any.

Not sure if it matters but Greg and one of the girls were close during the show. Maybe they should he next to each other in the line up for the bug. Might add a boost having the person you're closest with encouraging you.
I guess that could work, but given that there's probably a role that can boost others, I don't think that's necessary.

Each tribe member will eat a beetle larvae, called butok.
If there are tribe members who do not complete the task, their tribe will lose the challenge. If everyone completes the task successfully, including the extra member on the tribe that won the first immunity challenge, then both tribes will choose a member from the opposite tribe that they believe would be the slowest in eating a butok. First sudden death participant to finish their butok the fastest will win immunity for their tribe.
Each Tribal leader will need to supply a ordered list to me by 100PM EST 10/10/2020. The list will be the order in which the members of the Tribe partake in the challenge.
@markisprettyok @Tyche
I think I can go 2nd or 3rd; my character doesn't seem to have any qualms against eating bugs

I pretty much told WWS that we'd look for natural shelters and/or available items that could be fashioned into some form of shelter that is at least tall enough to sit and sleep under. The example I gave was stacked rocks with branches and leaves covering. Hopefully we'll be able to find some sort of natural shelter that we could at least use for tonight.
Thanks. It's only one night, maybe we'll find something more permanent tomorrow. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with today.
Me too!
Also I think we can make ropes out of plants maybe? If we can find yucca that'd be great for rope-making
I'd never heard of that but after googling it would appear that Borneo has it. Couldn't hurt to ask, could help to tie some sticks together at least.
1. It did??? I never knew that when I googled how to make makeshift rope
2. Okay, I'll ask!

It's better than nothing. Perhaps we can use some spare clothes and leaves to make something to sleep on as well as raincoats or big leaves to hang above us.
Sounds like a plan
Let's wait to see what our leader thinks. Trying to get any thoughts I have out now as I'll be working for most of this afternoon.

Eh, I´m not good figuring reasonable amounts so going to leave that to someone more qualified.
That said, on general level, considering only one out of four pairs were actually able to bring extra resources from our gather phase, I´d assume we are going to consume more than what we can bring back so having bit of a food reserve is probably good idea. Guess, what I´m trying to say is that we should eat enough to stay healthy for the first challenge but not any more than what´s needed to stay on good condition.
If my math and knowledge is correct, .25 lbs should be equivalent to a cup.
Morning all. That's about right and I agree it's plenty for now.

And how many days would our food supply last if going with those amounts (obviously bit hard to count with other supplies like oranges but some kind of estimate)?
Based on our proposed menu? Probably closer to 7 days. That said, as we lose people that is fewer mouths to feed.
My thinking is that we go light early and then up the quantity as we lose people and/or gain food.
Agreed. Let's see how our levels are at tomorrow.

There are trees and leaves around that we can manoeuvre without needing any tools right?
I believe there are. I wonder what we can make out of palm/banana tree leaves though

Your math and knowledge is correct, but assuming we're doing it this way, we won't have any extra food/water later on. It'd be hard if we weren't able to find any/get any later.

Only thing I can think of is to get the leaves from the trees and kinda use them to..make tents? or make makeshift beds out of them? Depends on what kind of trees there are
If there are banana trees then all the better

Should give us about a week I think and that is at full capacity and not finding more food.

Unfortunately you might have a chance of getting to the UK before me as I'm stuck here at the moment due to everything going on. Do you think you can be very helpful in the challenges, considering your character?
1. Depends on whether or* not my family would even consider going to UK, tbh
2. I think that I won't be too be helpful in the challenges, considering my character, but I'll still try my best!

Hello! Normally, Leion should be up and about right about now; he's got (more or less) the same time zone as me
How should we bond?

How about starting by letting me know what creature that is at the end of your post? Is it a tortoise? What do you think our tribe's chances are in the first challenge?
1. Is a turtle, but could also be a tortoise; my iPad doesn't differentiate between the two when it comes to emojis
2. I think we have a pretty good chance of winning, but since I've never watched Survivor, I'm afraid I'm never going to really understand what's going on

I'm originally from the UK but have been living in Thailand for the past seven years or so. That means I'm around at this time of the day often.
:0 what's it like in UK and Thailand?
I somehow missed this. The UK is generally wet and cold whereas Thailand is dry or wet depending on the time of year but always hot.
1. I made that post later than the first quoted post XD
2. :00 I want to go to UK next time

Some leader Seriously though, send me wherever needed, May want to check with @ignoramus though, she said she was not very athletic, so maybe Ignoramous/Lukess team up and take a shorter trek.Pagong
I'm not very athletic, but I think I can go further than 2; otherwise, no objections (also when did the numbers change?)-Pagong
You're welcome to another spot if you want, just let me know.I changed 9 to 2 to accommodate the elderly.
Are we basing this off of IRL characteristics or not? Cuz apparently my character's pretty energetic, but IRL, I can't go for too far without needing an inhaler
No I don't think we are basing this off our irl characteristics haha. If you Google your game character, you will be able to see their strengths and weaknesses and age and such. Based on the character wikis, we put the old man, and the sick girl closest to camp. And I chose the farthest because my guy is used to carrying heavy stuff.

Actually, after thinking a bit, I do have something to ask from our would be leaders.
Mark did say that non-traditional games are kind of his thing so I assume he has experience with this kind of setup (either as player or host). Destinylives and Pugkin Spooky: do you have previous experience on this type of non-standard game?
Also, for all three of you, how familar you are with Survivors as a series?
Anyone else from Pagong can answer as well if they want to, mainly trying to decide were my vote should go.
As for myself, this is my first non-standard game and I haven´t really watched Survivors so not much experience on this one.
Have played a few games with a similar set up before in that we had to vote for a mayor.
I haven't seen the show before, don't think we ever got it in the UK. However I don't think that will put me at too much of a disadvantage in terms of the game.
Afaik, there was never a UK version. Only US, Mexico, Australia, SA and NZ
We had our own version in the Philippines. I think it lasted for 4 seasons.
