I was going up and down on Shad in my head. When I posted the read on him, he was up, when I voted, he was down.
I didn't have any strong reads. I even considered not voting but then I realized that was a bad idea, as I was a possible lynch candidate and my vote can help.

TBH I think I voted Shad for the dream (finding the scum page 1), but it also makes much more sense gameplay wise and that was a factor somehow.
Voting Sooh there does nothing. There'll be another player with a single vote, and Sooh wouldn't be around so it's unlikely that she would get a real train and it sure won't get any reactions or much gameplay (as she wouldn't be around).
Voting Shad actually does something. There's the first player getting two votes, that's a serious lynch candidate, moves the game forward, and that player will be around too and if he's a villager, he's likely to do fine.
I also had to go to sleep (I think an hour past bedtime at that point).
I'm not sure how much of all this factored into it, now that I think about it, the most important factor was probably the last one (moving the game) but I don't even know.
Some things I did didn't make much sense to me actually and I had to think about them afterward to figure out why. Like, when Doing asked me why I didn't vote her, I really was like "hmm that's a good point why indeed".

Re-reading from #404 shows thought processes flicking back and forwards across these players, in any case.

Csarmi's ISO feels genuinely true-solvey for the very vast majority, switching from consideration of one player to another, following up on things in a logical manner according to his previous thoughts etc.

@csarmi, was there something I've missed wrt to your YOLO vote on Shad D1?

The 'unlikely to be bussing' comments from Shad seemed a bit thin to overthrow the 'more likely to be villager than not' read on Shad and overtake a wolf lean on Sooh for i) assuming Shad's alignment and ii) feeling like she was just posting to have posts?

Also, talking about EoDs, @Hallia is that the main thing for you? I'm not going to vote someone I end up thinking is Town? I thought you knew me well enough to know it's not uncommon for me to not vote, especially as Town, because uncertain?

As Lenlo said earlier in the game, any of us who unvoted Shad EoD1 could have just left our vote there to save Sooh.

It's a total mess, but here's where I'm at. I could really use help.

One thing about monstr here, generally, is that he IS playing with mostly with what I read as exuberance and joie-de-vivre.

This could be Town!Monstr! playing to how we all think of his usual meta as Town.
I'm not sure it is.

I think it's possible that all the small things monstr's spewing out could also be him very much openwolfing. Lololol if it is, I like to think it would be great for everyone to actually be having fun, including monstr if he's a wolf.

The emphasis and glee on so many small things, and TopDogPosting! Seems to tickles me there, as it would be an achievement, according to meta.

FWIW Chris has mentioned similar, that monstr is playing opposite to his meta.

This could be mafia-Chris setting up Town! monstr, or it could be Town!Chris giving out information on what he's noticed about monstr.

So far my thoughts on the major shiz goin down is this:

Zander, I don't agree with or like anything he's doing. But at the same time this singleminded tunneling really makes me think he's a villager. It's drawing so much attention his way, with so little care for his own safety it feels like, that I find it difficult to believe he could be the last wolf left in the game. I think he's barking up the wrong tree in regards to Chris but hey, everyone makes mistakes.

That leads me to Hallia who is my current go-to lynch. Her general treatment of Sooh and lack of otherwise supporting factors makes her the best shot in my mind. I get where Chris is coming from on Cass but I can't help feeling positive towards her. We mind-melded a lot on D1, though admittedly that was mostly around Shad who has since flipped confirmed villager so... maybe not as good a sign as I though while writing this. I'm open on Cass I guess but would prefer to lynch elsewhere.

Imo the PoE is Hallia -> Csarmi -> Cass.

I've already accepted the fact that if Chris is deep wolfing me this game I won't be the one to figure him out. So I'm operating under the assumption that he's in my town core and trust'em.

I'm gonna try and get full quotes again tomorrow morning after I wake up but its midnight here for me and I can't get them again.

Can't/Probably isn't Me/Dice/Chris/Zander. All of us were either voting Sooh at EoD or unvoted Shad/someone else tied with Sooh. Had any of us been Wolf we could have unvoted or kept our votes in place to ensure Sooh survived. This is my town core until proven otherwise.

That leaves Monstr/Cass/Hallia/Csarmi.

Of those I feel best about Monstr and Cass, though earlier in the game I did acknowledge a possible Cass/Sooh wolf team.

As for Csarmi it's odd as he was one of the other 2 major trains up for today and what are the odds we have both wolves on the block on the first day? Id say unlikely.

That leaves Hallia which I like but am unsure of. I dont have any real case here. Thus: A yolo hero shot in case I got shot.

I get the logic here but don't entirely agree IRT to Zander. He moved Csarmi at :53 to make it Shad 3, Sooh 2, Csarmi 2. I will acknowledge that he COULD have moved to Shad after Cass unvoted Shad to make it a three-way tie (2/2/2), but he did try to get me to move to Csarmi, which would have made it Csarmi 3, Sooh 2, Shad 1.

My big hangup with Csarmi is I don't know if it's more likely Sooh and him have their awkward spat a few hours before deadline as M/T or M/M. The whole thing reads so goddamn awkward to me, like they're struggling to find their footing together, but Csarmi is the literally the only person Sooh voted yesterday and she didn't vote him until after he voted her and he voted you.


My bottom ones based solely off interactions/approach to Sooh were Zander (worst for what I already explained)/Monstr/Hallia/Cass, but Monstr's overall gameplay yesterday made me think he was perfectly comfortably town, and I was pretty happy with Hallia just based on tone/feel.

I don't remember seeing Zander ask you to move to Csarmi?

WRT Sooh-Csarmi, I agree with it reading awkward.

Not sure if it at all makes a difference, but as I read it, Sooh voted Csarmi first, not the other way around:

Not going to lie, my initial response to this was a completely egotistical 'Hey! The Bold applies to me, and you left me out!'

At risk of being basic and all, can you explain Chris being in that group when he kept his vote on Shad? In my mind that defies your logic?

Tone-etc wise I was trending up on Csarmi towards EoD, and I'm not convinced Sooh would vote her teammate there.

I want to hear more from him, and Halleh, and Dice today, because I missssssssssss themmmmmm and want them to come playyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and they need to be evaluated.

Right now tbh I'm tunneling pretty hard back and forth on Zander and Chris in circles in my head. Obviously at least one of them has to be ok, but if it's not inactives, I think I/we should look closer there.

When I saw the underlined, I thought you were saying you liked it IRT Shad's alignment, not Cass's. The thing about her being spammy for no reason made me think you weren't particularly fond of her this game. Did I misinterpret this?

I thought I already clarified the bold further down in that post. The way I recall Shad is good at reads early on in the game, as well as later, and him saying Cass looks good makes me think she looks good as well. And yes, I didn't think she was particularly towny through her spam, but Shad had a good point that overshadows what I thought of as just spam.
