You guys were right to vote me out d1, sorry for my admittedly poor performance. I was quad tabling and was giving less than a $%#! about the accuracy of my output in the thread so I definitely deserved to die. I had fun with my last 20 posts trying to salvage it, though. Nice win!

Most likely, I'll be revealing songs in sets of two so that the reveals aren't too short. If there isn't a lot of live interest in the first reveal on Discord, I'll just post the scores in here. Don't want the efforts to go to waste for the submitters.

I'm gonna try to muster up the motivation to knock these reveals out, but the low amt. of interest and number of submissions has put a damper on things, coupled with my recent decision to spend a lot less time on the computer. We will see!

Music Mili - Mag Mel Back when I was a teenager, I'd...

    Mili - Mag Mel

Back when I was a teenager, I'd listen to the Oricon top 100 (Japanese music charts) every year. Why I say this is that I found the pop stylings of this album very conventional for releases in the first decade of the 2000s, so hearing this sort of this isn't as mindblowing to me (although the fact that it was released in 2014 was kind of surprising since the sound is a bit dated) as it'd be to your normal Western music fan. There were a few interesting ideas on this record, and the second half was definitely stronger than the first, but some of the more eclectic tracks being offered up next to bog-standard j-pop songs made the inconsistency seem less like an intentional choice and more like a lack of cohesion. Also, the elephant in the room is that the vocal mixing is very, very bad. I'm sure the lyrics on this are great as presented by Ephemera, and I'll have to look them up later while listening to it again to understand what she's saying.

    Standout tracks:

Friction - I liked the first third. The piano has swing and it plays some interesting notes. Once the violin kicks in the arrangement becomes more kitschy and less interesting.

Ephemeral - I assume this is the usernamular track for your MU account name, lol. I like the composition, but this track being solo piano really showcased how bad the action is on whatever they used for instruments. It's either a VST, a Yamaha, or just a bad sound studio. The lack of nice timbre on the piano made the song harder to enjoy for me.

Imagined Flight - Basically like the above with a great composition, and all of the instruments being added into the mix made it way more enjoyable to listen to.

    Flops:

Sacramentum - I like chants, but the her vocal range isn't very engaging when she's doing her anime voice gimmick, so this a capella track didn't work for me at all.

Witch's Invitation - The riffs are interesting, but the song is two minutes too long, so the end of the album drags a bit and doesn't leave me satisfied.

Overall, I had an alright time with the album. I saved three of the singles to my gaming playlist.

I agree that RWSTFO is bad. My problem is that there is no way to distinguish someone telling the truth about an emergency and someone lying without prying into details, which no one agrees is good. This rule decides that all sub outs are bad and should count against a player even if the circumstances are uncontrollable, or if the sub out had minimal impact on the game. It's not that RWSTFO should not be moderated, but rather that it is basically impossible to do in a way that is not punishing to all players.

Realistically speaking, you thinking that I'm with them should give you some sort of cognitive dissonance that's the writing on the wall w/r/t my true alignment. Yeah, DZ is howling, but his treatment of me and convoluted reason for voting me should dissociate us so you really shouldn't be voting me here.

That's a bad way to use my 100th post, I guess, but I want to be able to say I did everything I could to play to my win condition today. Guess I'll slide my vote over there too since my current one is fruitless.

Everything I do has some kind of reasoning behind it. Me voting C4 is an expression of "I really really don't like your vote on me or your reasoning to do so, I genuinely think it's not wolfy".

Me voting Axel is clearly an attempt to push buttons rather than me thinking he's scum. I didn't even put him in my poe. Sometimes you push a button and the button does nothing, yes, which is information in itself!.

When you use "there are scummier fish to fry" wtf are you even talking about? I was prolly the first person who brought up good points against Zeus. If it weren't for you, Zeus would be the person I'd most likely be voting for D1. If you're talking about Wade, I have kind of a similar POE as him, I don't want to lunch him rn nor do I feel like casing him would be a productive/useful use of my time.
I disbelieve your perspective. You having a similar PoE to Wade is in and of itself an issue to me because I had an inkling earlier that he was hard wolfsiding.

As for your comment about how "this isn't an open setup with solved theory", one of the setups I was referring to was a specific version of Mountainous. Your "oughts" about the game are unfounded. You have simply built up misconceptions and bad habits over the years, as all of us do, and your hubris will be the downfall of your accuracy. Ill stop responding to you here. I disliked your attitude and word choice in our first game together in wolf chat. I think you are pretty rude and unpleasent to people in general, and speak in a way the shows that condescention regularly. You also throw games when you dont feel happy about the game, and show a lack of concern for how your decisions effect anyone but yourself(like balming achro for your wagon over your own play this game). I cant make you inform me when you make new alts, after quitting mafia on your main, but I hope you will spare us both, and give me the opportunity to /out when you decide to play for one or two game days before self voting again.

In the first place, they'd voted for Axel because they seemed to fundamentally disagree on how to read people which is level 0 and bad, especially for someone who's posted as much "deep" looking content as Saturn has. These votes are completely and totally disconnected from someone who's ostensibly analyzing the game on their level.

well your play this game made you the defacto d1 lynch. Mainly for the self vote, and the pasta made you a hammer candidate early.

I know you have kept saying that the voters on you are responsible for your flip. Which is true, but if you are town this game your mis-lynch is so much a direct result of your game play, it is barely worth mentioning how much blame the rest of the voters share. Aside from your good advice to look for sincere vs fake votes on you.

post game your death is like 99.999% your gameplay's fault. I will conceed that it may not have been giving up. I will say if it wasnt giving up, then it was extremely poor tilt management(or something along those lines)
You have played enough with me to know that I have really poor control over my emotions, yeah, and I understand why that's unenjoyable for you.

I have been trying my pants off to towntell and scumhunt for the past 48 hours, so saying that it's all my fault really isn't fair. My early game was really disengaged, but I thought having 5 days to play made that okay. The rest of it is a mix of people not being able to see it from my perspective and scum players opportunistically jumping on (and for these players you will see poor reasoning for voting me viz. DZ and Wade's posts)

As for the copypasta, I just thought it would be a funny way to claim.

What is even left after DZ is dead?

Lucy seems like the obvious pick, but like... dunno. Unsatisfying. Seems spewed way harder? It could be the answer.

SPF? You're an evergreen choice but after d4 I can't buy it. You handled that purely.

GG? Two scum would have to be alive if GG is scum, which brings me back to DZ. Her being scum would maybe open the door to Porscha but I don't buy it.

All of d4 when I was tunneling on her while she was hard townreading me and carrying the day by moving the vote onto BK despite my incessant shielding of him. I honestly feel like the way BK tailored his whole game towards appearing like he was appeasing spf down to the Object vote is a clearing disassociative for her this match. He just cased her in another game and it backfired so he went for the polar opposite approach.

I have never said you quitting was scum indicative. I noted the pattern this game for the first time.

last time I mentioned my read was based off being in wolf chat with you for 1 game day.

I didnt think you were the type of player that would sincerely whine for 3 or 4 posts about gaslighting yourself over 1 wrong read and then talking about how you shouldnt play mafia anymore and then posting some troll video about mario urinating as your legacy reads. Luckily I was right.

I really dislike playing with you. I wouldnt mind if you gave me a heads up if we are signed up for the same game in the future.

Role of the Day
Time Protector

The Time Protector may each night target a player. All actions targeting the Time Protector's target will be delayed until the next night. These actions will only occur the next night, if the players who performed them are still alive. In order to roleblock delayed actions, the players must be roleblocked on the latter night (and not the former).
