Communities to invite to season 6?

Hi guys

Season 6 of the Mafia Championship is coming up.

More details will follow, but for now, I wanted to ask all of you whether you know of any active mafia communities that should be invited - communities that haven't already participated before, that is?

New communities pop up all the time, and some are just really hard to find, so all the help you could offer would be great.

Could we only invite properly active mafia communites?

I know saying 270 communities sounds more impressive, but it really lowers the quality of the play and makes me so uninterested in any of it. Especially when it takes players/hosts/resources away from regular MU games for a solid 3 months of the year.

Sometimes less is more.

I don't invite inactive mafia communities. Right now I am going through the list from last year to see which communities are no longer active.

Unless you mean communities with lower posting standards than ours, in which case I don't agree with excluding them as a general rule (unless they are extremely low posters), since a lot of the time they are able to send active players, so they deserve a chance to be represented, I think.

What's the definition of active community?

Having played at least one game in the past year? A couple of games?

It varies. Communities have different standards and styles. On some communities each game is called "Season 10" or whatever, and they might only have that one annual game where mostly everyone participates. So in that case, just one game in the past year would usually qualify. Whereas a once active community with many games having only played 1 game with 5 players 10 months ago would not qualify.

Debate.org is long dead and everyone moved to DebateArt.com, which does not yet have an active mafia community. We are working on re building the old DDO mafia there.

Yup, I was already informed of this. I was told they'd played several mafia games already, so that'd make them qualify, if they do want to participate.

CFC (CivFanatics) had games in May/June 2018, two in June 2018, one in September 2018, and one in January 2019
