Roleset: --Townies ----Members of the Town of Copenhagen
------Player 3 ----Members of the Town of Aarhus
------Player 6 ----Members of the Town of Odense
--The Unlynchably Innocent Lone Wolf
The object of the game for the Wolf is to engineer the lynches so that there are exactly one or two living players in each of the three towns. The Wolf wins when this happens. The Wolf dies when this can no longer happen.
The object of the the members of each town is to engineer the lynches so that they are in the town with the greatest number of living players when the Wolf dies.
The Wolf may choose if and when to have modbot announce his or her role.
If after adding the Wolf's votes the Wolf would still be the lynch, the player with the second-greatest number of votes becomes the actual lynch. All ties are randed.
There is no factional kill, but each Town has its own 24/7 Mason chat.
Each player has one vote, with the exception of the Wolf, who has:
--3 votes when 9 to 10 players are alive and
--2 votes when 6 to 8 players are alive.
The Townies vote during the day, and the Wolf votes during the night. The result of the lynch is announced at the end of the night instead of the usual (start of the night).
Please tear it to shreds or tell me you love it. Either is fine.
Feels more like a forum game, but it seems like a totally workable concept. Would require the right playerlist.
Yes all votes are public.
The only differences between this and a regular mafia game are the win conditions and that one of the players votes after everyone else.
The Lone Wolf has the benefit of knowing how everyone voted before deciding how they will vote.
But there is room for strategery in terms of does the Lone Wolf want to hide their identity and for how long, in which case they will vote in the thread during the day like everyone else, but it won't count. Only their vote submitted at night actually counts, and for the multiplier then in effect.
For this game to run properly in modbot, it may be necessary to add an 11th dummy player, designate that player as a "wolf," and tell everyone not to lynch it. The ten real players would all be coded as "town."
