I think it's fine to look at activity elsewhere. However I certainly don't think that should be the main factor in whether you believe someone is town or not

Exactly. I don't think its determinable for their alignment.

But it can help to see how committed to the game they are.

But if all you do is NAI things, you become a null. And if everyone else gets town read.... then that makes you, relatively speaking, scum read. The next one on the chopping block.

Makes sense to me I just wanted to clarify my stance

Can someone explain SHC for me?

@aao since you said Spriggan was cleared for that.

Also here's where I'm at rn.

    3) an_gorta_pratai - Null. His pop-ins are kind of awful. Really inactive

    12) aao - Town lean. Spriggan/aao/insomnia scum team?

    17) Phoenix13 - Null. Inactive?

    13) Duk3star - Town. I need to ISO him again but I've seen nothing from him that indicates he's scum.

    15) Spriggan - Scum-lean. He was on me most of the game and given insomnia's push on me and Spriggan's defense of him it's possible he's scum defending scum. Poison NAI.

    1) WerewolfHunter - Town. Could be a really good AtE wolf but I don't think so.

    2) SuperMonkeyFace - Town-lean.

    SHC = Seer Hunt clear

Basically its a policy that if a townie (who dies) had fake claimed a seer/cop check on another (and reported that as town), then they are probably town.

One of the reasons for it is that if a wolf or scum was registered/fake claimed as a town, by a townie on a d1 fake claim, then they would be less inclined to kill the fake claimer. Therefore, its unlikely that Spriggan is scum because Sunbae died when on D1 Sunbae fake claimed that he had a n0 check on Spriggan that said he was town.

Its not fool-proof, but its generally a good indicator from what I've heard of it.

I didn't personally give Spriggan SHC in my book, but I have town-read him anyways.

There might be more reasons for it, but I can't think of them off the top of my head right now.

Anyways I gotta go for the rest of the night.

I should note that since Insomnia has been revealed as scum -- and that Sunbae was pressuring him d1 -- the case for applying SHC on Spriggan may not be as good.

Role of the Day
Dealmaker

The Dealmaker is a mafia-aligned role that may target a non-mafia-aligned player each night and offer them a deal (a 1-shot ability). They will not be informed which role or player is offering them the deal. The Dealmaker and the mafia team will decide which 1-shot ability they wish to offer to the target, but they may not include any redacted or hidden parts to this ability (i.e. the person will always be able to use the ability as it is described to them). If the target ever chooses to use the 1-shot ability (thereby accepting the deal), they will suffer a negative consequence to be decided before the game by the host.
