Truth be told, that's the best way to handle me early in a Mafia game. Unless you have a good reason to suspect me, just call me town and let the Mafia night kill me. It was good to play with the RYM squad again after all this time. This subforum can technically become a new home to RYM Mafia if folks would like for that to happen -- that's the point. If so, Mac and I will need your help to convince other RYMers to come over and play. They've been hearing from the two of us plus dunya for the last 5+ years, and that makes it harder for us to convince anyone. We're annoying. You're not. Bring them aboard!

When I'm scum, my first call is to look for people who act like I would as scum, as it's easist to relate too.

I feel like they just outed their own scum play and it matches their play so far.
what a wild and stressful and memorable game. my reads in this game were pretty off and each passing day felt like a new rollercoaster, but the vibes in this game were generally very friendly and cordial, and i really appreciate how everyone put in a lot of effort regardless of their alignment. thanks for hosting, and thanks for the experience!

i want to talk a little bit more because i know i can do this after games consistently, but i've been experiencing an extreme struggle with my mental health lately. for context i have extreme depression, anxiety, and ADD. i also am a perfectionist and extremely hard on myself and when i feel bad about one thing, it triggers an intense emotional reaction for me which i know can hurt people. i haven't been able to take my medication for the past week and a half (....i literally lost it, i guess my ADD) and it's been impacting me immensely, i'm aware of this about myself and i'm very sorry about the way i've reacted to stuff this game.

Once each night, you may forge a certificate of authenticity on some broken-$%#! records you found in the city dump the other Tuesday, and then give the fake to someone.
The forged records can be any of the bands:
Coldworld – Wielding this record will cause the new record owner to appear to have a 1-Shot Lie Detector usable during any phase, however, when they actually do it, they’ll instead be roleblocked and Loudly Announce "the record is scratched" to them and their target.
Burzum – Wielding this record will appear to grant them Multitasking Compulsive Day Vigilante 2-Shot with Bulletproof. This is false. Attempting to use it will cause them to drop the Burzum album on their foot and cause them to instead announce their attempt.
Ulver – This appears to grant them a Role Erasing-Fail 1-Shot Strongman Vig, but it'll actually get stolen in the night and they won't get to do anything with it.
Weakling – It looks like a vynil and appears to function like it, but it'll explode upon they trying to use it and since it's inebriated, it'll take someone at random with them.
Paysage d'Hiver – Wielding this record will look like they have a 2-Shot Roleblocker. It will actually just leave an Abba record with the target (fruit vendor).
Gris – While it looks like their actions can be doublecast, they’ll actually just not feel like using their ability and proxy it to their target.
Drudkh – All players appear to be Cultists and Townies at random. Any cop actions they have are Insane (frame instead of investigation)
You can only make one fake each game or the ruse will break harder than Tofog's "Bastard or Life Clarity" album failing at selling copies.
If you are killed with a fake item on you, all fake items are revealed, and twilight is extended for 24 hours each day phase as a result of a lengthy legal battle with the Mafia's top lawyers that will finally end upon the game ending or all the fake-owners being dead.

The Emo Music, is an independently aligned player who on every even night (during full moon) will be able to choose between two actions: Targeting someone or staying home.
If the Emo chooses to target a player, they will kill that person and anyone else visiting them on that same night, ignoring any protection that they may have (won't override hiding/commuting mechanics).
Alternatively, the Emo can stay at home, which will kill anyone visiting the Emo on this night. If the Emo is roleblocked or for any other reason isn't targeting anyone on an even night, they will default to staying at home and will still kill anyone targeting them on this night.

As [COLOR=]Mafia[/COLOR], you have access to the Factional Night Kill Night Action. Players targeted with this action will die at the end of the Night unless protected. Submit your Night Action each night to the host in your private discord server channel. You may change your target as many times as you want. The last action submitted will be used.
If no Mafia submit an action, a player will be picked at random from the living non-Mafia players.
Twice per game, you may choose a target during the day and cast “Power Metal” on it, trapping the target in an eternal time-loop in its own mind. The target will every day cast the same vote against the same person (if he does not, he dies), the target will know it has a curse but not what kind and will be warned that they have to always vote for the same player until the curse is broken.
And every night it’ll perform the same action against the same player from the night he was trapped with Power Metal, but the target will not be informed of this. If the action was a killing action and his target was already killed by him, the target will still attempt to carry out the action against another random town-aligned player.
