i'm surprised no one has made the obvious joke off of the title
especially surprised amy herself hasn't

My original answer for the giraffe question was 2400 and now I wish I had kept that :/

You did not get this joke. We will try again tomorrow between 9am and 5pm.
Let's talk about that.
For those in the FF chat, you might have seen I pinged sunbae and said I needed help; my question was going to be "what constitutes meeting someone personally?". I worked in food service for years - I have, no doubt, encountered tens of thousands of people, though I wouldn't say I "met" most of them.
However, I have a fairly large family between both of my parents' sides and my in-laws. Let's call that 100 people. I went to school in two states. My graduating class was 330, and I'll estimate another 150 I met at the other school system. I currently work in an office with 300 people. I served with over 200 different people that I spent significant time with. Throw in other jobs, that's - eh - 120 maybe.
Right there is 1,200 people, not including people I've randomly come to meet, family of friends and coworkers I've been introduced to, etc. It also doesn't include ANYONE I met at my college, which had 20,000+ students (again, certainly I wouldn't say I met all them, or even all of the students in the 100 person lecture).
Using my 1,200 - and realizing I have more life experience than many (though I bet my 75 year old grandmother has met more) - as a relatively high estimate, and adjusting for the fact that kids in my graduating class ALSO knew the kids in my graduating class, we'll assume each of my 1,200 has met 500 people unique to them. That gives 600,000 within two degrees. If each of those new 598,800 has met 500 people unique to THEM, that's 300,000 million.
I don't know what the number of three degreers in my circle is, and certainly not Amy's, but I am 100% certain the correct answer is, at minimum, 10,000,000.
And that was my baseline, too, Ran - I estimated if I knew a thousand people, and each knew a thousand, and each of THEM knew a thousand... that's a billion. Then I quartered it to adjust for exponential overlap.
lol same. No offense to her, but I just can't imagine Amy doing well in prison.
oh my god i'm so upset that i missed this game?????
Likewise, this looks dope af. Good job, Sunbae and Amy!
