The order of sign-ups don't have any relevance to anything.
The games are starting between end of September and mid October. There'll be a Doodle or something later to work this out exactly, so that hopefully everyone plays during a time that suits them. Would a start date in this timeframe work for you?

If you want to join with someone from another site you can gain MU citizenship by flying their banner and playing as an MU team.
