The concept is pretty straightforward: when you sign up, you message me a character from any DC property (comic, show, movie, etc.). Before the game starts i will design a role based on the character you picked. Fun!
No real flavor knowledge is necessary, roles will often be only loosely tied to character.
Every role will have at least two components to it. Most will have a passive ability. Roles and characters are NOT alignment indicative.

Please be aware that I will be using ZERO subs once the game begins (I will do pregame subs if necessary, though I hope it is not). I will also not be modkilling for inactivity or a player leaving the game. It is up to the players in this game to determine how they wish to handle those slots, should it come up. I will, of course, still modkill for a rules infraction if necessary, and those will be alignment blind, although I sincerely hope it will not come up!

The host rules are: don’t be a $%#!, no excessive ATE*, don’t angleshoot or quote role PMs and/or host and/or private communication, follow site rules, GM will handle everything without consideration for alignment, GM reserves the right to modify remove or add rules as needed.
*defined as: statements that directly say or imply that something in the game is having a negative impact on someone’s out of game relationships or well-being. if you believe the game is having a negative impact on your life and/or your health, please pm me on here or on discord (clemj/Nanook#8937). If you believe someone is engaging in excessive AtE, please message me here or on discord. This system relies entirely on stuff being reported to me. If you feel the need to vent and/or if you feel someone has crossed the line, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

I am a former player of mafia on a site long forgotten. I am here to inform you of the player ZanderisTown. I don't know what he goes by here, but if you know any people named ZanderisTown and they type like an early 20's women, then that's probably him.
In our now defunct home, ZanderisTown was known for his lies and manipulation. So much so, the name ZanderisTown because a synonym for an extreme liar. You may think: Well, this is mafia? But you clearly did not think hard enough.
ZanderIsTown not only lies in-game, he lies in every action he takes. Everything he does is to gain an advantage in the forum mafia game. If he tells you that you are the exception, you are not. You are yet another victim. Let me repeat: Everything he does is to gain an advantage in the forum mafia game. EVERYTHING. He once even flew out Steven Spielberg to his home to record a video proving his internet died, so he could pretend like he afk town, instead of fake afk mafia.
Please, do not trust a word he says. God help you all.
