I'm going to apologize for this one in advance but I hope you'll all humor me for a little while. This is a champs level game after all and I can't help but try and post in a way to properly honor the occasion. Who knows when I'll be back in this situation again.
I don't think it's a secret for most of you that my track record in reading Hally has been rather … well … awful thus far in our games. I did have one specific game where I recognized Hally was a villager and confidently (and happily!) let the world know. They flipped wolf. After our Syndicate game together and then Anni (both of which saw me find Hally's eod wolfy and press there) I wanted to make a concentrated effort to finally read that slot correctly.
I spent some time today combing through recent-ish games this year of Hally's. The wolf game on the Org website, the Vig game over on the Syndicate one, and all sorts of mashes/smaller games through MU as well. Rocks fall, Anni, Homestuck, CoV, etc. You get the picture. All in all there were 16 different games I pulled isos from. I then went and ran through the isos extracting all the day one posts from the first half of the day, labeled them as W or V, and ran them through a bit of a homemade database that would do a few different things for me. One of the things was to make a word cloud which would count the number of times each word was used in these isos and make the word larger the more frequently it was used. For example:
Anyways, I separated the wolf isos from the villa isos and then removed things like articles (a, the, in, an, etc) as well as player names as those aren't really super relevant to our investigation and cross referenced them to see if anything word usage stood out as alignment indicative in the top 10 most common words. While there were small word choices favored it didn't seem super significant. What WAS significant were two other things:
One: While specific word choices weren't very telling I did notice a definitely trend of elegance in the wolf isos. The words may change but the idea remained the same. In wolf ISOs Hally had a habit of using larger, more elegant words whereas in the villa ISOs Hally just talked more casually. I'll call these Posts Exceedingly Elegant as we continue.
Two: Villager isos were much more full of observational posts rather than inquisitive ones. The wolf iso was full of open ended questions requesting elaboration. Not just directly to a specific player but also towards the thread at large asking if it saw what Hally was seeing. Meanwhile the villager iso was full of more pointed statement. It was telling the thread what Hally was seeing and making sure everyone understood. The village iso had a higher frequency – by a significant margin – of Posts Of Observation.
Again, I really want to get this right so I didn't stop there. Science isn't science until you write it down after all. I went ahead and charted the percentage of posts as a villager and as a wolf for both posts containing an elegant word and posts making observations. It's a bit crude but here's the quick jot down I made to visualize it:
So I wanted to see how this one was shaping up. Remember, these were all taken from the first half of day one isos which we've made it past here. I went ahead and ran through Hally's iso from this game, plotted the elegance and observational percentages on the chart, and ran the following equation to try and determine the exact percentage chance Hally has at being a wolf:

A couple years ago I got into town of Salem (probably from a youtuber I watched? Idr exactly) which lead me to research the salem witch trials since the default names in TOS are people involed with that event. Witch Haven is apparently a common nickname for Salem, so I kinda just stole that and made it my name for a while. It ended up being a little too common of a name and I couldn't get it on certain social media sites, so I started using haven4haven, which just sort of sucked (way too many hentaihaven jokes). My logic from there was basically 4-1=3, what is 3? Triple, triplehaven, W
I still get plenty of people calling me heaven the first time they address me but otherwise I like the name

1. Bastard mash 2020. I probably wouldn't have kept playing forum mafia past the pandemic had I not played in such a fun game within my first months of being back. It was very inpactful to say the least.
2. To be honest it's hard for me to really say. I recently played a wolf game that we only really lost bc votes didn't lock at LYLO (CK9+++). It felt pretty clean overall and it's one of the only wolf games I've had where I wasn't POE for a good bit

I used to be the sort of person who was pretty sespetible to saying alt right $%#!. Mostly cause i didnt realize was it bigoted or that stats were being purposefully misinterperted, I blame part of this on being terminally online and my very-almost-exclusively-white background (I am literally a ghost). Luckily after the aftermath of 2016-2018 i cut it out but if you really wanted to dig you could find some shiiiiit.

tosFM is where I started actually! I used to play basically every game I could there. I took a break from mafia right before the pandemic hit and came back when I realized how much free time I'd have. That's when I moved here

Honestly, what is your name!? illario? Happy? We get that everyone can be happy though, it's a good name tbh. You're part of the group of EMers that have recently (or, not that recently anymore) been showing up in most games on the site. A very welcome addition. Your improvement in skill level is by far one of the most significant ones on the site, and you've definitely become a force to be reckoned with... Which maybe isn't that weird since you've played about five hundred mashes, five thousand normal games, and fifty thousand turbos this past year. Your performance in this year's Champs game 7 when you brought your team to a clear win, landing you a first place in the player votes, is a clear an indication of that as any.
You are a Wolf, and you have the following abilities:
- Sacrifices need to be made: Every night, starting n1, you may target another player and submit a list of 5 names, at least one of which must be a wolf. The target will be given this list of 5 names and told that there is at least one wolf in the names. You cannot target the same player on consecutive nights.
- As long as the wolves end up winning: If the above ability targets a non-wolf, they will be roleblocked on that night and the following day. Their ITA hit chance will be reduced to 0 on the following day.

I think you back down too easily when you're called out/pushed on as scum. This might be something you do as town as well, I basically only remember very distinct metas so I wouldn't know.

choosing 15 is really hard (and tbh most of my picks would be pretty predictable), but here are a good handful:
Garden Gnome, but she is given a role that is forced to bus. i watched people basically instantly clear gnome as town as soon as she voted a wolf d1 in warhammer mash. pretty sure she'd be unstoppable.
i just played a game with instanthammer where he and DZ basically completely swept town. yes please to that!

I started playing mafia a litle over 3 years ago. One of the things that was banned (or at least heavily restricted) on the town of salem subreddit was role ideas, so the only place to discuss them was on the forum. One day I was scrolling and saw they had mafia which (despite sounding very complicated) piqued my interest.
If im being honest, I'm not entirely sure where i found MU. It was probably just mentioned in passing somewhere.
Really, its a mixture of like a thousand differnt things. Throughout my normal daily routine theres not a single voluntary moment where i'm not listening to music. its something I consider an integral part of my life to the point where I don't see a fulfilling job without it. As for specifically DJing, these last couple years i've been surrounded by quite a few djs due to members of the family getting married. Seeing how music can change the atmosphere of a place in the blink of an eye is an almost undesirable feeling. I'm not 100% set on djing but I'm intrigued by it, I guess you'd say.
