2. Bloobird: Josh Ritter - Thin Blue Flame
Damn, why have I never heard of Josh Ritter? This is pretty much everything I was hoping for in this cat. The rambling always feels like it's about to just dissolve all over my ears and that last instrumental swell has me feeling like a balloon. I feel like it could've packed a harder punch, could've eventually had the vocals evolve with the rest of the song, like it felt like the song was begging him to jump an octave, but good $%#!.
