please got to dvc and vanity search, I think you'll laugh!
Of course of course.
I thought I was making it out of today.
And then I lazily agreed with benneh's tier list, and realized my error.
Yeah I obviously didn't want to say this when the game was still going in front of either of them for morale purposes, but when I opened my role PM, I literally said "we're gonna get swept" out loud
(They were both sufficiently self-deprecating and not upset by the result that I feel safe saying this)
But they both did a LOT better than I was expecting D1
Thanks for the invite Dobby, was fun to be here while I could
Gg lol
i got into dumb arguments with only villagers this game
i have found a new towntell to abuse
(next game i will only argue with wolves)
Tbf, I don't think a single one of the wolves in this game was going to sit and argue about dumb things.
well
....yeah fair enough
im retired anyway
ggs all
ladd knew all along
NIGHT 3 FLAVOR
Okay, new attempt.
New approach not working either.
TL: DR
Okay, cool, let's try this again as well.
And, yeah, we just got more of the same.
At this point, it had probably come to a stage where the effort put into getting Amrock to do the job for Dobby, had taken more effort than for Dobby to just do it himself, but... He was too committed at this point to leave it. Also, there seemed to be some kind of progress after all. ish.
So yeah, even more of the same...
And even more...
And more.
And then some!
At this point, there were only two alternative explanations that could make sense to Dobby. The first one was that there were big technical difficulties because of the size of the story. Amrock did say it had around 10'000 words, and posting it maybe broke Amrock repeatedly or something... and that he was trying to find a solution to this issue.
The second alternative, which was looking more and more realistic, was that Amrock had been trolling all along.
I mean, we DO get our story after a LOT of work, so don't worry about that, but fixing the broken bot behavior and sharing it here felt just as important as getting the end product delivered. With the way Amrock kept hyping it up, it was bound to be awesome (and it's definitely worth the wait, so hang in there).
Anyways... Dobby changed his strategy yet again, hopeful to be able to reach through to Amrock and un-break him after all.
Sigh. Okay, patience is in fact running a little short. Come the $%#! on Amrock, just give us the story.
And
lo and behold!!!!
(spoilering cuz of story = huge picture size)
not yet tbh
NIGHT 4 FLAVOR
Amrock just keeps doing Amrock things. Dobby starting to get annoyed.(basically anni host-chat all over again)
And, a (kinda expected) turn of events.
Okay, joke's over tbh, maybe we can get our story now?
And yeah. There are a few more of those. What can I say... Dobby fell for his $%#! again, thinking the bot/Amrock could actually be reasoned with.
FLAVOR, FINAL PART
And, here's the final part, where things took a fairly unexpected turn, after everything that had happened.
And, surprisingly - after a lot of work - Dobby did in fact get a story!
The greed led Dobby to hoping for more, and he tried again. It would be fun to have everyone included tbh.
AND
AS
PROMISED
WE
FINALLY
GOT
OUR
AMROCK-GENERATED
STORY!
Thanks for following the dobby-getting-trolled-by-a-bot series all the way to this "happy" ending tbh.
i cant believe amrockbot spewed logic w
Nice grats everyone GG all wp
Sorry about biting your head off katze lol
Was silly of me, lessons to be learned
Was a fun game and lineup, thanks for putting it together roro
lesson learned: hold katze to a low standard
![]()
Great flavour btw
gg i was katze
ggs i was amrockbot
Yes!![]()
Sorry for being a pebble in the shoe this game! Am still on a break but couldn’t resist the player list.
Thanks dobby for host and invitation and flavor!
Until next time![]()
I suggested nominating this team for an award, and everyone in the game said no.
I get that the rand was heavily townsided and the setup was too.
But I've been on wolf teams that beat very strong villages. I vividly remember a game with me, Marko, HardcoreUFO beating a village team of Apoc, Panther, Wiggles, Lissa, Benneh/Dyachei, Viggorous.
I really think everyone should reread the last day of this game where basically everyone but Ladd has a losing solve - Visor says he will snap lynch Wisdom at F3 with Logic. Ladd himself is in the POE and everyone agrees they'd fear kill him at F3. But Ladd made insanely villagery posts, Visor and Beck sussed each other but found each other. Katze and Dyslexicon posted great. It was a case of villagers in the POE not accepting the lazy view of the gamestate, not letting themselves get mislunched and simply outposting the last wolf.
Logic played fine and certainly gets through another two days in most MU towns.
IT'S TOO SMALL. I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT. IT'S NOTHING TO ME. IT'S A BACTERIUM. I TRAVEL IN WORLDS YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE. YOU CAN'T CONCEIVE IS WHAT I'M CAPABLE OF. I'M SO FAR BEYOND YOU. I'M LIKE A GOD IN HUMAN CLOTHING. LIGHTNING BOLTS SHOOT FROM MY FINGERTIPS.
i think the setup shouldve been a 17er (but ppl didnt want to play that for some reason) - though i doubt wolves win this game if its mountainous anyway
to be frank, i expect good villagers to be able to do this, i expect people like ladd, apoc, spf, (definitely not katze), beck, etc to be able to catch wolves, discuss productively, reassess the situation etc
so yeah, while the villagers in this game obviously played well enough, it wasn't a special performance, this was an everyday performance from a good village and a wolfteam that got off to a bad start
yes sometimes games go the other way because of problems (which, amusingly, is one of the reasons for this invitational playerlist afaict)
i said in dvc this reminds me of the spec chat invitational i played that had hally/lan/moonstermash as the wolves
village played well (really well), but the player quality was high and wolves got off to a bad start, it was the expected result
impo people nominate too much random everyday $%#! for awards, sometimes its a little above average, most of the times its not worth nominating (and this game is certainly not worth nominating)
you can only play as good as the opposing team you come up against, and sometimes you get games like this that just never get off the ground
also @Ephemeral and @Raskolnikov
play the next one
also nice avatar eph :curtain:
Good town performance from what I can see.
listen soab
I have probably never complimented you and never will again so just accept it.
The point is not that this was a tough game or even a high-leverage spot. But the last wolf is well-hidden and playing very well. It would be very easy for most towns to just lazily POE down the game, you get to F5 and and there's fear and paranoia and anything can happen.
Villaging is about using good logic and a sound process to make reads + clearing yourself + convincing others and that was done very well here.
ur literally australian back off buddy
Katze was ok
as a katze alt i can confirm that they are not australian
unless they're on their alt visorslash
they definitely do
But in this case, people actually played well so idk what the issue is
![]()
do not nominate this game
i want visor to have the time
why do i birth memes every game i play smh
I would have vigged Katze for this, this cannot be a real thought.
![]()
Katze plays too many turbos
Clearly that's the only explanation![]()

Can we make this a meme of it isn’t already?
The one where he used a cuth post to diss me was some of his best work
I quoted it on discord but i left the server
