Visorslash in The Story About a Story - Invitational
Nominated by: JohnCarter

Ended every day on a wolf and had to go through the hard miles of being suspected quite heavily. Also:lol
benneh in The Story About a Story - Invitational
Nominated by: JohnCarter
Seconded by: Hally
another player who ended every day on a woofer. He also showed some great re-evaluation on a number reads prior to getting to each of them - which makes me think that this Benneh guy could end up being a pretty good player with enough time.
Illwei in Mountainous Poison Mentor/Mentee Shadowhydra game!
Nominated by: DoctorZeus
Seconded by: robyn
Check out this vote history:
Illwei ended up every day voting a wolf out every day
She was exceptionally towny, and, if we'd just sheeped her all game it would have been much easier.
A case in point- from the moment she died the town started cannibalising itself. There ain't no int'ing with illwei
Zack in I Think You Should Leaver 18er
Nominated by: Hally
Seconded by: YOLOSWAG
no villager has ever reached the heights zack did in this game, because he was on a zip line and those are pretty high up

dyachei in Boomer Reunion Poker Mash
Nominated by: LanMisa
Seconded by: Manny
Despite being a Vanilla Town with no extra powers, Dya was the clearest of all players, to a point where wolves poisoned Dya after unsuccessfully trying to kill Dya the night before already, fearing that she would be saved again (which she would have - from two town protections at the same time!). While alive, Dya was the heart of the towncore, casing several wolves including KP ones that had attempted to go deep (and thus focussing the ITA shots on where it mattered), building a solid towncore, being trusted by all the alive town players in the game and just being a positive influence in the game - all while working and taking care of little Amy!
Being dubbed "Day Cop" by both alive and dead town as a VT and parent should tell you all about this outstanding performance in a game that town solidly won - and most likely would have won a day earlier if not for Dya's ultimate demise to poison on D4 - at which only two wolves were left alive, with one being deep in the POE and the other one being mechanically boxed in. What a game!
Inanity in Boomer Reunion Poker Mash
Nominated by: baudib1
Seconded by: benneh
Despite stating he had zero desire to play his first game in years, he posted 20-40 times a day in the early game and basically only voted/shot wolves. He had the planned late-game wolf nailed on D3 but a credible mechanical claim got the wolf to end game, where inanity emerged as the town leader and nailed Bopolis to the wall. One of the most efficient wolf-killing performances ever.
SpankGangsta in Boomer Reunion Poker Mash
Nominated by: Apoc
Seconded by: baudib1
inanity is one of the GOAT, and he had this to say in postgame:
If insanity is sheeping you, you're doing something right
Achromatic (as SeriousMafiaPlayer) in Pokémaf Generation 2 Mash
Nominated by: DoctorZeus
Seconded by: Twice Shrunk
In pokemash gen 2 there were a series of fantastic performances from town leaders (Yellow, Raichu/Cobalt), PR's (Seel/InstantHammer), FPS'ers (BATMAN), endgamers (Shad) and scum finders (Pony/Raji). But amongst this cavalcade of glory, SMP stands tallest
From SOD2 Achro took on the town leader position, leading a game that truly did swing from town-wolves and back again numerous times.
A strong wolf team sat pretty and gave a great fight, but, SMP's mid game town leadership really cemented a position that helped town win.
He had great reads, fantastic charisma, and an ability to re-evaluate that was needed in a complex game
hip hip hooray to achro
Limestone (as Gypsum) in Mafia Universe Anniversary 2023
Nominated by: Boquise
Seconded by: Apoc
He had an insanely amount of correct wolf reads and kept pushing town into the correct directions. Had Lime been left alive even longer, town could have won I believe. His play had very few mistakes tbh.
Apoc in Nightmare on Mash Street
Nominated by: Boquise
Seconded by: Kuti plz
Apoc showed leadership as long as he lived. He loverised himself to a valuable scum member so he couldn't be killed and moved the game forward for town so it was, at times, winnable. When other people are prone to panic or yell or swear at each other, Apoc as a town leader is calm and clear. He also has no problem letting other players take the helm and lead the charge tbh
Player who did exceedingly well in a specific game as scum or 3rd party. Include the game with your nomination.
staypositivefriend in Democratic Republic of Mafia
Nominated by: arogame123
Seconded by: Hally
In a game where town were on a roll early, Spf lost both partners in day 3 and managed to solo all the way to day 7 LyLo and ended up winning. She did a great job of being strategic with her night kills to avoid being suspected for being alive as well as constantly getting elected in the government to avoid getting voted. She also did a great job of creating chaos within the town and managed to prevent a lot of suspicions growing on her through her strong cases/refutations.
Zack in Sunbae All-vig Turbo
Nominated by: Sunbae
Seconded by: benneh
a stacked player list and zack was left as the last person standing as a wolf. incredible skill on display that needs to be shared to the world
Bluekang (as Nico Hakobyan) in Danganronpa Despair Time: Anonymous Ninjas and Guns
Nominated by: Fable
Seconded by: Manny
They did nothing but call everyone village and vote sleep and got nearly 0 flak for it the entire game and we swept.
They have reached wolfing nirvana and has found a way to become an untouchable wolf no matter what they do. No one will ever pull off what they did ever again.
Achromatic (as Hector) in Witch Hunt IV - Anonymous (Greek Myths)
Nominated by: Michelle
Seconded by: DoctorZeus
He endgamed and won in N7 after loosing all his partners until D4, 2 of them at EoD1, claiming judge during D1 without any pressure and avoiding solid suspicions all game, being a very agreable presence, casing and pushing villagers in a natural way and receiving town reads for that.
As judge he killed 2 of his partners receiving a huge town credit, but that alone without his thread presence wouldn't be enough for the win.
SchizoAffected in RuPaul's Drag Race Mafia
Nominated by: Esooa
Seconded by: mollylikesorgami
He entered the town core from the start of day 1 and basically never left it thanks to writing amazing posts and having a great position on his partner's wagon d1. He used his cred to push three hard-to-elim villagers that would normally have been seen as obvious town, faking progressions on them along the way that cemented his town status while tricking the other villagers into voting them.
He towncased his second partner into a lot of peoples town cores, heavily interacted with them, and gave a lot of useful advice to them. By the time lylo came around, their team was in such a good position that it didn't matter he got snapvoted as soon as the day started. It felt like he made it impossible for his team to lose
Prince J in Semi-Finals Practice Game
Nominated by: alexa
Seconded by: arogame123
fooled spec chat and most of the game, put up a huge fight despite a very very challenging situation, ended up losing on a rand he was only in due to mechanics and losing partners, but he was towny enough people started questioning if mech clears were legit!
lilypetal in Sit N Go - 12/12 Phases - JOAT 13er (x2 JOAT)
Nominated by: benneh
Seconded by: dyachei
Her wolf partners, including the wolf PR, got absolutely destroyed on back to back days, the PR dying on day 1. From my mdo perspectrive, this looked like a runaway and terrible town stomp on night 2. I even offered the option to lily to concede, which i hardly ever offer to wolf teams, and she basically told me to $%#! off cause she wanted to do her best and at least give town a good hunt
She immediately went into a an absolutely perfect JOAT hunt, which she absolutely needed to get that night or risk the JOAT refreshing their actions and possibly locking the game even harder than it seemed at that point. She correctly identified all the fake claims or spewed not-joat villagers and then totally identified the JOAT and stacked up evidence to confirm it was the right shot, and it was. JOAT dead to start d3. This gave her a shot and she steered mislunch after mislunch into a WIFOM-y sleep at F4 to win in a very tough F3 against 2 players with tons of town cred behind them
This wasn't a town bamboozle or throw after finding 2/3s of the wolf team early. This was a super hard fought game by both factions and lily had enough wim and wifom to secure the win. impressive stuff.
matt in alexa ROLE MADNESS turbo 3
Nominated by: DoctorZeus
Seconded by: alexa
In a game that twisted and turned, matt came up clutch as a 3p Serial Killer up against a pretty impressive town & wolf block.
From a town perspective, we managed to lunch the pack wolves d1-d4 in perfect succession (with a few vary mistimed pr plays decreasing our equity), and, from a scum perspective, the final 2 Lost Wolves could have hammered for the win if they had perfect information- so- Matt overcoming some great play from both sides required a lot of skill and he brought it home very well.
Key moments:
1) Pushing the final pack wolf over the line ensuring he was safe from the lunch for a few days
2) On the final day, having realised that there was no mafia factional, not shooting, thereby being able to claim he's mech cleared because the mafia tried to kill him
Overall very tidy play
Ultra in Season 10, Semifinal 2: Charmed - Demon Confederation (The Mafia Championship)
Nominated by: Macdougall
Seconded by: Delta
(by delta)
Ultra's play in SF2 is genuinely impressive from start to finish \o/
Off the bat he's towned pretty widely by most town alive & he maintains that spot throughout the game, there's moments where people catch on but for the most part he replicates his town performance almost perfectly. He played an impressive game throughout & is more than deserving of being in the running for his performance in SF2 ^^
Even when pressured by town throughout, he never reacted in a way that allowed for most of those townreading him to waver & even when leading misvotes on town, he went unnoticed by most all game. Even those he was tormenting each night as Firefighter ;_;
& Just to highlight how the game went for him; he never reached above 1 vote at any point :O

Twice Shrunk in Rejuvenation Mash
Nominated by: Vulgard
Seconded by: baudib1
honestly, i could make this nomination for a lot of that team's members, but as someone who was in a wolfchat with him for the entire game and who was able to witness his play in the main thread from a tmi perspective, i can't not nominate him for this
his mechanical play was stellar, and his manipulation of the thread was fantastic
mech:
- twice was a wish granter. he utilized that to get doctorzeus, an influential villager, to townread him by boosting his ita on d1, with the secret drawback that landing that ita would kill him. he further developed the pocket by boosting dz's ita even further on day 2, but this time, he secretly removed zeus's immunities as well. this foresight actually proved relevant, because zeus turned out to have had a bpv, and therefore would not have died - were it not for twice removing his immunity for good measure. we did not know zeus had a bpv - twice was just psychic.
- on day 3, twice yet again used his wish granter phenomenally. upon learning that lol, a villager, had day kp, he powerwolfed the thread - and lol himself - into a plan that would "prevent the village from losing to wolf!lol." the plan completely prevented lol from firing his kp, because twice's wish roleblocked his kp for the entire day. and yet again, this was an incredible case of foresight on twice's part, because lol's role could uniquely fire an ita at someone even after death - and WE DID NOT KNOW THIS, just like we were not aware that doctorzeus had a vest. with twice making sure that wish would roleblock for the entire day, lol could not fire his post-mortem shot.
- on day 4, just as insurance, twice made sure an outed wolf - dyachei, who just got revived - could not be daykilled. dyachei had two high% ita shots, and itas were the only form of day kp the village had at that point, so this would have been a major problem for the village. he also made the drawback of his wish a night roleblock on dyachei, which would not have mattered in that gamestate, as we were going for the win.
- i should also point out that twice (and insomnia, our other subfaction member) helped develop the 3p claim i ended up going with in that game and which ended up winning us the game. my claim wouldn't have been as good as it was without their help - hell, it might not have even been a 3p claim at all. i executed it well, but they helped me create it.
threadplay and wolfchat:
- twice powerwolfed extremely hard all game, pushing wolfsided agendas everywhere. he was wrong about every player's alignment and loudly pushed the wrong solves. he sounded frankly insane when posting sometimes, but it is that insanity that somehow, by some miracle, got him townread. many villagers doubted him, but they kept reverting their reads on him to townreads, even though he was objectively leading the village off a cliff. if that doesn't put "power" in "powerwolf," i don't know what does.
- twice combined his in-thread powerwolfing with the mechanics of his wishes to create very beneficial outcomes for our team when it appeared we were in danger, as mentioned above with lol. he also helped me in wolfchat, which was particularly relevant on the final day of the game, as listening to his strategy allowed me to secure the last 2 players we needed to trigger my keyword and get into my neighborhood in order to win the game.
- twice also listened to what WE had to say, at least in wolfchat (which is where it mattered to our team for him to listen).
in short, twice was a massive benefit to the wolves throughout rejuvenation mash in virtually every aspect and every area. i don't know how he's able to post in the way that he does, and you may not like it, but it was very, very effective in this game. just look at his iso - there is no point of the game when he is not trying to kill villagers and blatantly save wolves, yet he got all the way to endgame.
Amrock in Mafia Universe Anniversary 2023
Nominated by: Achromatic
Seconded by: lol
Amrock as completely broken Wolf Killing Power just had himself a game as he masterfully led the wolves Night Actions, plotting in Wolf Chat, and bullied less important wolf roles in a timely fashion to bury himself deep into the towncore so that later on when people tried to get paranoid of him those people were shot instead for daring to question him.
First, Amrock pushed hard on wolf partner Sett day 1 with so many fellow wolves that I myself found the wagon heinously suspicious and voted town over it.
Ego Post from me EOD1:
I had Amrock at the very bottom of my reads list EOD1. For my crimes, Amrock murdered me and then once I was dead and to his credit the wolves made my suspicion of Amrock disappear like water vapor.
From there, Amrock was careful and precise in the wolves he chose to throw overboard, and his wolf buddies did an excellent job (such as Cron) sowing seeds with him throughout the days to give him credit little by little as the days went on. When some thread momentum was seeming to turn against Amrock, Beck open wolves to silence critics. When paranoia mounted one final time it was Cron who defiantly argued with his wolf captain in thread and took a bullet to ensure his team won.
Amrock needed people to give him vote counts in order to power his killing power, and day after day with dread every person in thread, regardless of if they were alive or not, was pinged with the request. Relentless. Unceasing. Amrock ensured every day that he got all 20 vote counts he needed to ensure he could slaughter town at night.
Not only all of that though, but the audacity which Amrock moved through the game with is surely going to be the talk of the site for years to come. Amrock was fake poisoned not just once, but twice and still despite all of that and claiming a green peek day 2 SOD managed to obscure people from his trail with sheer force day after day. Then, on the dawn of what would ultimately prove to be the final day, Amrock knowing he had been tracked due to wolf buddy inside information claimed a shot on Dale, the person who was very suspicious of him the previous day and talked his way around this being acceptable despite the fact that the thread had largely come to the consensus the day before that Dale was town.
With Dale gone, Amrock ruled the final day with an iron fist and a WIM that couldn’t be opposed by the exhausted town. He bussed Beck and Cron, but in between led shot after shot into town over and over, and despite all of this there were only faint whispers of paranoia as town again and again put put their trust in him. Finally, in his last act of the game he engineer town KP to shoot fellow town and guided the execution away from a town member to another town member for what I only assume was style points since that town member, Ania, had quoted Amrock’s own villager guide and he felt like adding style points to his impending victory when silence would have worked just as well.
Also as a final laugh, the last day where game ended Amrock fake poisoned for a third time for bonus cool points.
In conclusion, Amrock showed complete mastery of night action assignment, kill priorities, wolf social leading, thread presence, thread manipulation, and put on an unrivaled showcase of mash wolf bullying of a town that had hopes of victory after night 2 and day 3, but were crushed before the hungering maw of the wolf known as Amrock.
Please everyone ping Amrock when you support this nomination to let him know we really care.
@Amrock ($%#! you for all of the pings btw, with love)

Matt was JOAT and fake claimed a red on wisdom. With Stick softing JOAT, and matts fake red, it led to an f5 where Kajot was SHC and 113 (the actual peek) and matt (the joat) were all alive locking the wolves jn to loss.
Critically- prince + vik were hard town red during the game, meaning town was lost if not for matts pr play + fake red.
A bold fps that ensured he and his peek lived to f5.

I was doubtful as a spectator re: his strategy at first, but he did great, claiming MD as JOAT then retracting into VT - looking like a VT (to the point where he nearly got MLed), the mafia PR hunters had no idea who the JOAT was. Justin managed to use his ability very effectively, getting both a doc save + a roleblock and a poison on the MD in a way that ended up being very effective for the setup.

Event prizes: won a silent ITA shot that she announced to thread to also gain villa points.
Most importantly won a RB at crucial time to prevent a doc save that could have lost the game for wolves.

Boq subbed into a mafia slot, which is never an easy thing to do, and endgamed successfully for a mafia win, in no small part due to the amount of distancing he and Ultra did with some very believable theater, some high quality interrogation videos, and quite a few "tbh" drops, tbh.
Even though he regularly commits the crime of liking banana pizza and tagging me in posts about it, he deserves a nod of recognition here.

His exceptional abilities in projecting town, finding wolves, and showcasing excellent game mechanics make him a force to be reckoned with in the turbo gaming community. One of his most remarkable achievements was his outstanding performance in the Turbo Championships earlier this year. He compiled statistically insane winrate over the entirety of the event and essentially forced the organizers to award him even though the criteria for his play did not match the initial outlines and requirements, his achievements were too good to not acknowledge and celebrate.

matt's a beast. absolutely amazing wolf partner who doesn't have any single posting meta that he falls into. can power wolf with you and post up a storm or play the low posting LHF who wins f3 by projecting micro town tells or he'll bus or be bussed and know when that is required for your team to win the game.and he's ridiculous as town too. his lylo game is frustrating af to wolf against because he's not afraid to go with his gut and can find town/wolf on the tiniest of things, but most importantly, he's not afraid to go with his gut

dyachei GOAT. winner of the turbo championship of 2023. balances turbos and being a new parent and makes it look easy. amazing at both alignments and does not allow themself to be easily pocketed as a villager or to give up easy village reads as a wolf.
frankly i think we can let dya's alt account do all the talking:
although its a relatively small sample, the winrate still speaks for itself. their play going back to their main account isn't far off from this and its hard to argue against the $tat$
an absolute dominating wolf rand statistic and a stupidly high town winrate its no wonder they won turbo champs and they'd be just as deserving of the year long award too

Variance
Nominated by: insomnia
Seconded by: YOLOSWAG
i now think variance checks all the boxes fmpov for this award
as a villager, he has good reads for the majority of the time, even catching the team by D2 more than could be chalked to “coincidence” or “luck”. he’s just a great villa to have on your team and he even helps with comebacks, recently he clutched up a win from the jaws of defeat by catching a wolf on a claim that didn’t add up, that wolf was gonna win the game if it wasn’t for variance as he was the only person to spot the discrepancy.
as a wolf, despite his accuracy as a villa, he still wins pretty much all of his wolfgames if my memory serves right. his wolf winrate is high and he doesn’t always bus from early on / unnecessarily for cred
and for me personally, the posting style also counts and he just has one fit for turboing. im not sure how much he plays other game modes, but i think he’s primarily a turbo player, could be wrong, so the nomination just seems fit
aaaaand he’s also won a turbo championship event
Only players who played their very first game of forum mafia in 2022 are eligible to be nominated for this award. I.e. this is not an award for "rookie Mafia Universe players", since a player super experienced in forum mafia could be new to MU.

G1 of the S10 champs was his first forum game (whatever site he plays on is basically 3 minute turbos with an almost discord style of posting) and not only was it an exceptional first performance he has followed it up with strong performances as both roles. Subbing in to wolf spots he has swept, he has continued to show his strength in multiple forum games and has been active in the turbo community too.
Not only is he a very skilled player (I really cannot emphasis enough that I dont fully understand his community skills into forum gaming, theyre worlds apart but he has made the move seamlessly) he is always a positive experience in games (and spec chats!)

Stett is an awesome player, an absolute goat in her home community, a constant n1 kill with the skill and talent to nail wolves d1, even whenh the rest of village protests against her. It's no surprise that this skill translates well to forums, and I frankly believe that it only gives her time to shine.
Stett took to forums amazingly, getting n1'd in her first game while having all three wolves in her poe at some point that day. She showed a similar prowess in the Semifinal 1 Re-Rand as well, yet again being deemed an issue in wolf chat, but nothing was done about it, and so she stayed, and pushed for an impressive town win after 3 miseliminations, and while being placed deep in the POE the entire time. She made it all the way to f3 and helped to secure the first (and only!!!) town win for Semifinals! She did NOT stetter!!!
Stett is an amazing player to play with and against, and is a joy in the thread for her careful analysis and dedication to the game.

I believe DZ has had a tremendous improvement in not only his town game but also his mafia game compared to last year. Coming fresh off semis in champs season 9, it's hard to improve at a drastic rate that DZ has. As one of the more underrated players on MU imo, DZ has shown a great amount of WIM and passion within his games that carries across.
Not only has DZ improved in both of his alignments (which I will get to later), but he has earned 2 awards so far this year alone. DZ is both the turbo champion as well as the mafia league champion. DZ has shown his skills in his turbo game play by making very close to accurate snap reads and helping to carry the torch as the game goes on with his endless WIM and will to solve the game. His communication with his teammates is second to none and ensures to always get his message across. In the Mafia League, DZ not only showed his ability to escape getting scumread and pulling out myslynches day after day as mafia, he also showed his ability to re-evaluate successfully in multiple LyLo/near LyLo scenarios to win the game for his alignment. And he is also a current sub for semi's. DZ has shown he can win in the big leagues when the pressure is on!
And when we focus on his town game, DZ has a lot of passion and WIM to solve the game and it shows. He produces good accuracy on his reads as well as a demonstration to re-evaluate on certain reads he may be wrong on. He is kind and very collaborative with his peers.
As mafia, DZ has shown an ability to become a "cockroach," the ability to evade getting lynched and getting out of POE's. He is very cunning and displays a certain amount of charm to get out of sticky situations while fooling others (especially in turbos) to power wolf and get his myslynches.
All in all, DZ has shown a drastic improvement in both alignments and his showcased his ability to become a leader in the games that he has played in with his high WIM/passion. Additionally, he has won 2 tournaments this year in the Turbo championship and the League Championship. No matter the style of the mafia game (short, normal, and long), DZ showcases an ability to be able to perform at a high level and has improved significantly from last year!

Player who excels at being a good teammate for their alignment. Examples of being a good teammate don't necessarily necessitate that player dominating for their alignment in the game. The award is moreso geared towards a player who keeps morale up in wolfchat, did a lot of work in a mason/neighborhood chat, was a good thread captain as town, etc.

the most admirable mafia trait you can have, as any alignment, is being the glue that keeps a team together and moving forward. this was on full display across this champs season, topped off by a finale game where she was undeniably a village leader. any moment it looked like town was beginning to head down the wrong track, she was there to right the ship and keep the game sane. the type of player you just pray is on your team when you know she'll be in the game.
Player who excels at playing town, which can include having good reads, being excellent at avoiding mislynch, being generally persuasive, being a leader and/or a calming and rational presence for one's team, etc.
Gira
Nominated by: DoctorZeus
Seconded by: Vulgard
Predominantly excelling in mashes, Gira has become an elite player who can solve circa 60% of the game by d2 using a methodical, collaborative, and easy to follow process. His reads are fast, accurate, and, hugely useful for the town as a whole. He's become a key n1 kill for wolves who want to have a chance in the first ITA's
His town play in turbo's and normal games is equally awesome (though increasingly, and sadly, less frequent.)
Hip hip hooray for Gira!
dyachei
Nominated by: benneh
Seconded by: Hallia
I think this is pretty clear cut/well known for most of the community. Dyachei has had a pretty dope year and they are obviously a great all-time villager. They are often fear/SP killed early on in mashes and normals. They very often have amazing reads and they do a great job of conveying those reads to the thread and not getting pushed off of them by wolves or stubborn villagers with incorrect reads. They are also a great leader -- I don't think they necessarily try to be, but they just have a general confidence and thread pull about them that kind of pulls the player list of varying games to trust them and follow them to some degree.
Now, these are all general statements about their game that I believe to be true. And they're true in every format-- Mashes, Long games, and Turbos.
But for some specific call outs of some recent games they've dominated, I would point to:
1) SNG 12/12 Phase I Think You Should Leave 18er
2) SNG 12/12 Phase Double JOAT 13er
In ITYSL, dyachei subbed into a slot mid day 1. Although day 1 and 2 were rough for the village and they miseliminated two villagers on those days, and things were looking relatively bleak, dyachei maintained good reads during that time and kept themselves out of danger.
They were able to take use of their power on day 3 when a difference check between Beck and Neil was outed and lobbied hard in their mason chat to use their dayvig shot correctly on Beck, which I think most players would shy away from in that difference check. This led to a chain of events that really brought the village back into the game. Basically from the moment the difference check arrived, dyachei had near perfect reads in their POE/mason chat despite lots of things disconnecting the entire wolf team as many of them had distanced very hard against each other.
There was a mis-shoot on the next day but they helped ensure baudib was eliminated after the Beck shot and then left amazing reads in place that POE'd the game to the final wolves in Robyn and Kajot, essentially forcing Robyn to out as a wolf in order to try to get dya/hallia (their mason partner) out because it was such a huge hurdle for the wolves to overcome.
And then in the Double JOAT 13er. Dyachei just literally had perfect reads in the game. Not an exaggeration. They pushed on both the Wolf JOAT and a Goon day 1, and while the JOAT became a runaway wagon and dyachei was not voting them, they kept their vote on another wolf and ensured the day 1 wagons were w/w. And this was all while also correctly POEing the 3rd wolf. They died night 1 because the wolves literally could not risk leaving them alive. Dya's reads were so quite literally perfect I used them as the spoiler image for DVC of who the wolves are:
This is a day 1 list!
In addition to this, I have personally wolfed against them in a game off-site recently and we saw the exact same thing. Dya literally had perfect reads on our team and correctly put is as their bottom 3, basically solving the game before anyone else came close, in a spot where my wolf team was doing very well and not facing a ton of suspicion. While we were able to sway dya a little and get our way and they were a miselim candidate for some others in the thread but my team felt the need to take them out in case they re-eval'd and got us. I know off-site games don't really 'count' but its just another example of their elite villaging worthy of being acknowledged.
Now, I don't want to take anything away from the villages in these games, cause they definitely played well. And Dya could certainly be a top contender for either of those games as "best performance single game" but the consistency they've shown this year I think they absolutely deserve the nom for best villager overall and very likely deserve to win too.

I really think it's a crime that Lime has been around MU for so long but hasn't won this award. He consistently has elite, like 99th percentile, reads in both mashes and normal games. That's his defining trait to me, but his walls are stuff of legend, showing a thought process and clarity of thinking that is arguably the best to ever exist.
What people don't know as much as that Lime is a very, very good wolf player as well. A perfect team player and wins almost all of his mash and normal games. Never suspected.
I think the coolest part about Limestone is that he doesn't really care about how he's perceived. He doesn't take himself too seriously and only high posts when he has time. He's someone we should look up to! This+ his proficiency in both normal games and mashes makes him, imo, a perfect candidate for the award.
He is consistently recognized as a top 10 player on the site but doesn't get any recognition. Let's change it!

I think they also contributed to an enjoyable gamestate despite some heat at times too.

HIGHLIGHTS:
great PR actions:
@Cape90 was an architect and created all village neighborhoods
@matt vigged a wolf both nights
@SchizoAffected used his jailkeep action perfectly, killing the wolf with the one-shot kill.
@Delta chose great targets for their ability
@Manny gave @foxfalls a suicide bomb she used on a wolf
great village solving throughout:
-lots of high WIM from villagers. in early game, the n1 kill, @0Ix, is a good example. she dropped a 20-page doc of solving she did while she was post-capped which included her turning around on a villager she was omgus-tunneled on/re-valling in the same day, impressively.
-late game @Shinichi and @Boquise high-key WIMed in an impressive way. Boq discovered something crucial to town winning/crucial to finding the last mafia
-touched on before, but multiple village neighborhoods happened with great solving within (the @Happy / @SchizoAffected one and @Xanjori / @Delta one being great examples)

Most of these players had never played with each other and despite the unfortunate incident above (twice edit: see s10 g1 eod1 in funniest moments) they went on to crush the wolf team. Incredible wolf hunting from multiple members had us (wolves) hard against the wall early. Not only did multiple members correctly sniff out wolves they were able to convince others and shield their village reads.
Highlights include realising that Actionguy was a villager that had made a play, rather than a wolf protecting team-mates, I was CFD over him. @samac subbed in to a POE slot and managed to not only stay alive for the rest of the game via incredible WIM and high solving. @Clouds and @ghug literally never gave us wolves a moment to breath and were hard on us nearly all game long. @Delta in his first ever forum game was N1'd because his solve was simply too on point and he reeked of villageriness. @Limestone dropped a wall Day 1 on a wolf, some say it was a wall that simply couldnt be argued with. Even the final day when two villagers came out voting for each other they were able to spend the day talking and solving and ended with a yeet on the final wolf left alive.
Keeping in mind that they're one of only two town teams to win a game in Qualifiers and did so without any mechanical results and in such a convincing fashion I think theyre truly deserving of this nomination.

They swept a mountainous game which is so no small feat while also continuously keeping the game on edge. Not a single person of the cast was able to nail the entire team. It was a masterclass of teamwork as the discord held so many notes of discussion between the lot of them.
The game was completely within their grasp albeit a funny chance towards a CFD that saved them on D1 they were able to maneuver from that and continue on a strategic mapping of the game where even NKs were not even trusted.
Then in LyLo, Cognizance, snap voted to save Jessnny/Violet because they were near the chopping block and able to also sway it towards their target. It was a great play and just truly a clean win for mafia overall.
There hasn't been a clean mafia sweep in a minute in normal games/queues and this one just was a dominating performance that was also a fun puzzle to solve so truly a fun spectactle as a host and I would love for them to be a contender this year.

This game turned out to be an incredibly fun and engaging spectator sport where everyone got to participate for 12 to 24 hours and make decisions directly relevant to their team's wincon but no one had to long haul it out for the typical duration of a full game. Two captains drafted teams to square off 1v1, while a separate roster of judges had to determine which player randed town in each match-up. Draft teams scored points by winning their match-ups, while judges scored points by finding wolves. Spec chat was exceptionally well planned to allow judges and captains to strategize with their teams pre-rand while still participating in the live specs in which, while everyone's wincon was known, actual alignments were always a secret. The concept offered a great balance where you could cheer on your team and guess who the wolves were independently.
Basically all participants had a direct opportunity to contribute to wincon, all participants got to hunt wolves from spec chat, and no participants had to commit more than a day or two of their time to do it. I think the constantly active state of spec chat throughout the event speaks to its success more than anything.

Alexa designed another rolemadness game that was both balanced, and it didn't have completely boring or useless roles in the game. Most of them had multiple stipulations or things happening such as neighborhoods when criteria was met. Alongside included two 3P slots that had a pretty simple abilities or win conditions that didn't break the balance at all. Every day had something significant to them, whether it was events like the fishing game, or day actions, keeping things interesting and having the game go at a nice pace.
Alexa always has fun setups and this was another example of that.
The game itself involved a lot of good play from both sides. Town had very good role and action usage being able to find and put away mafia throughout the game. The mafia themselves were able to keep it close and interesting with their ability to use their night and day actions very well, and having two of their members win the fishing event they kept themselves from being boxed in.
However town was still able to band together and get the win.
Mash that was designed and/or hosted exceedingly well in addition to being an enjoyable and fun experience for the players.

@Professor Elm, @Anne and @alexa designed a well balanced game that had interesting mechanics, exciting events, and, a fun mix of roles.
Particular shout outs in the design to:
- The 20% ITA's which helped bring a consistent sense of excitement throughout the day
- A fun role set that included a cop check that needs to be charged up by being targetted, a JOAT who has to draw their powers, and public hoods
- Varied anti-claim mechanics that kept town from completely blowing their loads
This thoughtful design was matched by a competitive, good natured, and highly skilled player base who kept the party going in DVC and in thread over an exciting week!
The fun had by the whole player base is encapsulated in the fact that this mash had the second most posts of a non anni game on Mafia Universe- and- most excitingly the top poster ended up being a wolf!!
Great performances in the game were had by mafia and wolf alike, with shout outs frequently given in thread and across DVC.

If that wasn't enough, and it was, because every single time I saw that dog giving a thumbs up to that post, I nearly died laughing (quite literally, I'd go from laughing into a coughing fit I could not control!), and I then began adding/editing the thumbs up from DZ's avatar onto Matt's doggo avatar in response which he ended up applying as his new PFP. Okay so... this is like a really subtle GOAT performance, and it's actually not a meme at all this is nuanced $%#! okay. @Macdougall agrees with this we came up with this together.
So Scumbait joins this game, rands town... and just 0 posts for a bit. Just doesn't do anything. So eventually she gets 4 votes on her and two of them are scum. She has baited the two scum. So we kill one of the scum and day 2 rolls around and it's like okay scumbait is in poe, she hasn't done anything.
But then... she makes obvious town post after obvious town post and everyone relaxes. Goes 'oh, scumbait is town, cool' and she helps us solve and she has the wolf we end up killing in her bottom 2 poe.
But then, close to the end of day 2... she starts talking about chess randomly. Just... because she feels like it, I guess? Day ends.
Day 3 comes and the lat wolf accuses scumbait of lolcatting and votes her! She has now ensnared every mafia member into looking worse through her actions. The last wolf is chopped day 4 and town wins.
Look at this density of wolf vote to town vote ratio when the game started with 11 other townies and 3 wolves. Then look at her name. This is the perfect execution of a gimmick, folks. I don't know if this is the right category for it but holy $%#! me and mac are BOTH convinced this is actually legitimate.
I don't know what to do, but the thought of this being someone's alt who intentionally did this has me and mac just kind of laughing our asses off stunned at how it all played out. If nothing else, I think it deserves a nomination because of how it all played out, even if it could be coincidence.

I am writing to nominate Benneh for the esteemed Community MVP Award for their outstanding contribution to our Turbo Mafia games played on our web forum. Their dedication, expertise, and creation of a Discord bot to streamline the entire Turbo Mafia experience have significantly enhanced the enjoyment, efficiency, and overall organization of these games.
Benneh's recent development of the Discord bot has been nothing short of groundbreaking. I would also like to nominate Variance for the Community MVP Award for the creation and management of this years turbo championship. He invented an elaborate scoring system and kept track of all individual results for over month (almost 150 games). Turbo Champs brought a lot of new players to turbos and made sure several turbos were run every day.
Thanks so much, Variance!
Arapocalypse
Nominated by: Xanjori
Seconded by: Boquise
I'd like to nominate @Arapocalypse for Community MVP for the amount of work theyve put in during S10 champs. I know there are a lot of people involved in making this work but Ara has been the face at ground level. Helping to organise events, reaching out to players to make sure they're ready and all the work with running bets and predictions in spec chat Ara has been nothing but a hugely positive force for good during this event. Personally if it wasnt for Ara reaching out to me Id have been too disheartened to join spec chat after my game (so yes you can all blame her for my endless spam of memes.)
Ara has simply been just right for this role, theyve put in so much effort, always been friendly and enjoyable to be around in spec chat and has (from my point of view) really helped the whole experience of season 10 be a positive one.
Twice Shrunk
Nominated by: arogame123
Seconded by: Hally
Not many may know, but twice has been a huge factor in helping organise the awards and making this all possible in the first place. Being very diligent with his work, he does a great job of confirming and making sure the task is done successfully. No half-$%#! from twice.
Additionally, he had been a pioneer for new design setups and introducing new mechanics into the game. His love for hosting/designing has inspired many others to learn from his setups and implement it in their own games.
His presence has a positive effect on the community and his hard work/dedication to get the tasks done really shows whether it is from his hostings or managing the awards. He is the best non-mod organiser mod out there.
Delta and neil the eel
Nominated by: Kuti plz
Seconded by: Twice Shrunk
They have been hard pushing forum mafia to their fellow chat mafia people in mafia.gg and 5up. They have hosted forum games to get them accustomed. Got them into turbos as well. They are offering advice and what not to help transition people from chat to forum. They have more community events in the subforum to help get people into forum.

The man is hard carrying the walrus and various club subgroups on mu. Yes it's not mafia but the man has hosted like 69 different walrus es in the last few years. He has a new one every month atp. He has started and led the music album monthly exchange, the cooking club, etc.
He's been a huge asset in the non mafia related culture in this site.

Nom/sub Ultra for best wolf performance in a single game for Champs Semi
Nom/sub Ricardo for best overall scum for his champs performances
Think champs finale town team deserve a nom/sub if they haven't got one but I think being on it I'm not allowed (also my qualifier wolf team definitely deserve a nom/sub for single game too) as well as the town from Hydra 1 if it's eligible for anything
Nom/sub clouds for best town single game for the finale
And by sub I mean sec
tossing a couple up on the board for cats that should have noms
didistetter for best team player
the most admirable mafia trait you can have, as any alignment, is being the glue that keeps a team together and moving forward. this was on full display across this champs season, topped off by a finale game where she was undeniably a village leader. any moment it looked like town was beginning to head down the wrong track, she was there to right the ship and keep the game sane. the type of player you just pray is on your team when you know she'll be in the game.
vikuale2 for best newcomer
turbo squad member that has somehow amassed over 5k posts in the six months he's been on the site. he's a positive presence in games & spec chats, doesn't have the slightest ego or talk down on anyone, and has an acute sense of being able to identify other villagers when he's town which gets overlooked. also great at making himself an identifiable villager by often airing all his game thoughts from a to z, even the zaniest of them.
i kept procrastinating on this but
nominate @katze for best host
i think kat deserves this nom for the sheer amount of effort they've put in throughout the year. for countless games (they've hosted the most games on mu this year, they've been working behind the scenes helping people host, both on mu and game chats (usually on discord). notably, they've helped host anni, the recent mash, and the series of 12/12 games that most people associate with ben. they've also randomly joined hosting teams in the middle of the game if people need help. they're just very helpful and have done so much for the mu hosting scene that i think they deserve this award.
we need to fill up some of these categories!
i would also like to nominate acnh role madness for best small game
it seemed like a fun game with competitive play from both sides and alexa put a lot of effort into making the roles (and having them fit flavor), and the role pms themselves looked beautiful as always. all-around just a very well-rounded game that did well in every aspect from the play itself to the hosting.

(someone who's more familiar with the game can feel free to make a better writeup, i just thought to put the nom out there)
nominate town team of pokemash 2.0 for best team performance

nominate nightmare on mash street for best mash
not too familiar with how this went but seems like people really enjoyed it and there was good players from both sides
someone should make a writeup for this
Third the Vik nom but going to point out for Twice's sake that I'm pretty sure he's a rookie, not a newcomer.
oh $%#! i've been pinging adam with each of these awards posts
sorry adam
i blame gnome
Yeah Poker Mash was practically a sweep but I still believe this was the better village overall and beat a wolf team that was actually trying
Second. As someone who has used katze help so much in cohosting, they are hard carrying. They offer so much advice for every stage of the game.
. They are also pretty humble about what they offer even tho they are the best person to go to for things like hey can you help cover this eod for me to how do I balance this game to posting joycats in host chat.
I would like to nominate @Delta and @neil the eel for community mvp
Why you must ask?

I would like to nominate @Taffy for best flavor writer
She has such unique flavor in each game she hosted so far this year. She was a huge asset in flavoring the Halloween mash. Shes so creative with every game she hosts. From birthday game to the champs game, her range is huge.

Writeup:
Ultra's play in SF2 is genuinely impressive from start to finish \o/
Off the bat he's towned pretty widely by most town alive & he maintains that spot throughout the game, there's moments where people catch on but for the most part he replicates his town performance almost perfectly. He played an impressive game throughout & is more than deserving of being in the running for his performance in SF2 ^^
Even when pressured by town throughout, he never reacted in a way that allowed for most of those townreading him to waver & even when leading misvotes on town, he went unnoticed by most all game. Even those he was tormenting each night as Firefighter ;_;
& Just to highlight how the game went for him; he never reached above 1 vote at any point :O

OK I lied I have one last one:
I would like to nominate @Aes Sedai aka @dyachei @Hallia for best hydra (2023 G1)
They both made themselves obvious town and helped town lead even tho the wolf team kept trying to break the cohesion. They both were 3/3 on the wolf team which got them n1ed. They were both amazing. :squee:
Also dya did this all while being 9 months pregnant
illegal 3 headed hydra, ban them!!!!!!

Nominating @Yahboyboter for best Replacement player in "Turboer Semi-invitational J10AT - Thotful Times". Yahboy was put into the game after a force subout on d3 of a game in which town is on the backfoot in f5. Only 8 minutes into the day and 2 posts later he has towncored previous ML candidates with laser sharp precision and pushed the entire remaining wolfteam against a wall. Game ended 4 hours later in a crushing town victory.
I will let his ISO speak for itself:
STOP TINFOILING ME!!!
As a fellow player I second this.
