currently as it stands the manage compensation button is pretty... lackluster
i don't think it works in any capacity for giving town compensation (admittedly have not tested this, but it'd be weird if it did as its implemented), but for mafia the only thing you can do is give them additional factional actions
but like, since inventors exist, why not use that item system? to be fair i feel like compensation in fully automated modbot games is rare enough, but the system exists, so. why not? give the wolves a 1 shot roleblock cuz something went wrong. a player was outed due to a modbot error lets give them a suicide vest to compensate. okay that doesnt rly make sense but u get the point
idk whats the point of this dropdown if the only option is exactly "give them factional action"
i also suspect (have not tested) that the current system would not work very well if you had to compensate multiple factions in a multiball game either since every time i try to submit a different faction it overwrites so this could fix that as well?
i made an infographic just in case that wasnt convincing enough
honestly it does kinda open up the potential for cool mostly-automated role ideas/game ideas as well but that isnt the point of the suggestion more than it is a bonus

The reality is that when you've soft defended half the wolf team, and tried to kill who I perceive as villagers, it's impossible for me to ever take that slot out of the PoE, or even trust them. I feel like they tried to open the PoE by bringing C4 back into the spotlight.

And if she’s maf then she’s just a borderline sociopath memer girl whose jokes are just lies and her seriousness are just lies and everything about her is a lie and if she flips maf this game and I see her say anything remotely scummy in a future game I’m just gonna death tunnel her to the ends of the earth regardless of how genuine her posts may feel

I agree with this; based on what the current compensation is, it doesn't really feel like there is that much point to it, when giving mafia an entire factional kill as compensation tends to be extremely rare, and if you're doing that then you're most likely not running an automated game anyway!!!!
I'm not sure if this one has ever actually been used?
Anyways, think expanding options while specifically keeping in mind other usages is solid anyway, with how rare compensation is needed!!
