i don't have a gender and i'm intersex, so non-binary doesn't apply to me, and neither do male or female. it doesn't really bother me since i see labels as more for others to help identify me than something i actually care about, and i don't have any problem with being seen as nb which is close enough for most people to get an idea of what i actually am~! still, i was wondering why neither were options as pride badges (or gender for the former) and got the sense that maybe things like this were simply added as they were asked for?

Does agender not fall under the umbrella of "Not in the male/female binary"?
if you're trying to say agender is a non-binary gender, i'm using it as a label and to my understanding it's an umbrella term that doesn't discriminate between those who consider themselves non-binary in addition to being agender, and those for whom specifically not being included in a gender spectrum is the point to begin with. so, the answer to your question is ideological on some level, but in the same ways that all gender is? i can't control your beliefs, but i and many others disagree that agender = non-binary if that's what you were implying.
for some ppl being agender =/= non-binary as it’s the absence of any gender at all versus a gender outside of the binary. having a flag in the same vein as genderfluid/genderqueer would be neat.

Obviously one size doesn't fit all but just throwing it out there as something I found personally satisfying and maybe you might too--turning your pronoun/gender/etc options off altogether.
I can add a symbol, since there is one, but I don't want to be redundant.
don't make a change then. it's redundant until someone who actually cares wants it to happen, and that was my motivation for posting this thread (that maybe someone else like me who's either intersex or agender would appeciate the options being available).
i will admit that the main reason i'm fine with being considered non-binary by others is that the majority of people i talk about not having a gender to don't seem to even consider the possibility that it might be bigoted to insist to me that i'm non-binary regardless of what i tell them, so i'm fairly convinced at this point that the truth of the matter is that it's unreasonable of me to expect others to accommodate for my identity, or my identity is caused by mental illness. and, when i explain what i'm explaining with these words right now to some of those same people, their tone immediately changes and they start to respect me more in that regard, but it feels a bit performative or catering to me rather than a reflection of their actual thoughts. i'm not actually sure what either of your posts are asking of me since i thought i'd already made it clear i'm not non-binary, so i'm just spitballing at this point really but i've mostly lost interest and probably won't check this thread again, honestly.

The option has been added.
I'll concede that Agender is distinct from the others, and from not selecting an option, which implies you don't want to say.
I am a categorical person, and I would consider myself closest to agender as well, if I cared enough to identify with a term other than my name.
My questions have to do with a) Laziness and b) Semantics. I don't intend to add every symbol on that list or start that snowball rolling; I'd like to make one, final list, and not have to edit it.
