Characters:
Hello, this will be the 1st round of the The feast of the Yomi Purge, a series of games hosted by yours trully based on the visual novel "Raging Loop", the purpose of this series is provide a casual but interesting experience for players who want to start playing mafia, or already play mafia but would be overwhelmed by 48/24's or 12/12 and/or are looking for something a bit different.
The premise for this light game is that even tho this will play out as normal mafia/werewolf with the flipless rule, players will be assigned a role and a character with a sidequest.
Roles will be public and work the same as you would expect, if you have a "doctor" role, you will be able to save 1 person during the night for example.
A sidequest in the other hand is not public and it's a mission that the player may choose to follow in order to gain points (explained later) and have a minor win if completed even if their team loses. (characters are public).
In the spirit of Raging Loop, I'll be hosting different variations of this game and keeping track of the points gained by all the players who join the feast.
Points:
Winning: 2 points
losing: 1 point
Completing sidequest and winning: 3 points
Completing sidequest and losing: 1.5 points
What changes between Loops?
-sidequests for every character
-Event on Day 3
-The narrative, since yours trully will be watching over the Feast I will remember all the loops and will create lore alongside my beloved players.
FAQ
1. Is it possible for the sidequest to be impossible to complete alongside your main win condition?
Since the quests are given before rand, yes it is possible that you are given something that will be impossible for you to do alongside your main win condition, but I'll try my best.
2. Are the character's sidequests inspired by their Raging Loop counterpart?
Yes but not limited to it.
Will you be selfish and follow your own agenda or will you do what's best for your group?
That is the nature of the Feast.
