In case of a tie, one of the tied players will randomly be eliminated. Sleep is a valid vote. Starting Day 2, Majority is enabled, meaning the players can end day early if someone attains a majority of the votes. Night Chat In Thread: No, thread will be locked during Night Phases Out of Thread Communication: Only the Mafia team may communicate with each other outside of the thread (24/7) LYLO Rules: Votes are automatically locked in at LYLO. I.e. when the game reaches a point where one more miselimination leads to a loss, you cannot change your vote once you have cast it. Minimum Posting Requirement: Minimum 10 posts per Game Day Maximum Posts Allowed: 125 posts per player per Game Day (restriction is lifted 1 hour before EOD though, so if you've reached your max you can post again at that time).

Town Role
Description
Vanilla Town
The Vanilla Townie has no special powers or night actions. Their only power is their vote and voice during discussions.
Town Jack of All Trades
The Town Jack of All Trades, also known as Town JOAT, may use each of the following night abilities once throughout the game: Doctor, Poison, and Roleblock. This role may not use multiple abilities on the same night.
Doctor will protect the target from death for that night. The Town JOAT cannot self-target with this action, and will not explicitly learn whether or not they successfully protected someone.
Poison will have the target announced as Poisoned at the beginning of the following Day. The Poisoned target will die at the end of that Day. There is no way to heal this poison.
Roleblock will prevent the target from using their night action. Players will not be informed that they were roleblocked. See "Roleblock Mechanics" below for further info.
Town Motion Detector | Disabled in Endgame
The Town Motion Detector may use the Motion Detect ability each night, until there is only 1 mafia remaining, at which point they will no longer be able to use their role (Disabled in Endgame modifier). If the target visited someone or was visited by someone else, they will detect motion. If the target did not visit anyone and was not visited by anyone, they will not detect motion. The Motion Detector will not learn what type of night action(s) their target used/were used on them, only whether there was motion around their target or not.
Mafia Role
Description
Mafia Firefighter | Compulsive
The Mafia Firefighter must use the Hose Down action to target a player each night. This will cause the Firefighter to visit their target (creating Motion around both the Firefighter and the target) and nothing else will happen. The target will not be informed that they were targeted. If the Firefighter does not submit their action, then their target will be randomized for them. The Firefighter does not heal poisons.
Mafia 1-shot Power Role Killer | Cycles 1, 2, 3
The Mafia Power Role Killer may use the Power Role Kill ability on one night out of nights 1, 2, and 3. This will kill the target if the target is a Power Role (not Vanilla Town), or have no effect if the target is Vanilla Town. The single shot will still be used if the target lives. This is separate from the mafia factional kill.
Mafia Universal Backup
The Mafia Universal Backup may use the Backup ability on one night. This will allow them to inherit the powers of a dead Mafia player once in the game (they do not immediately inherit the role of the first mafia player to die). They may begin to use the inherited role the night after they inherit it (example: if the Mafia Firefighter is eliminated day 1, the Mafia Universal Backup can back up the firefighter on night 1, then can begin using the firefighter role on night 2). All abilities and modifiers will be inherited
Players will not be informed that they were roleblocked.
If the Mafia Power Role Killer is roleblocked by the Town JOAT while using their ability, they will lose that ability shot forever
If the Town Motion Detector is roleblocked by the Town JOAT, the following feedback will be given: "Your action on Player X failed”. Note that this is different to a negative (e.g. no motion) result.
If a player has been roleblocked, then they cannot be seen by the Motion Detector.
Additional Notes:
Compulsive means that the Mafia Firefightermust submit an action each night, otherwise a target will be randed for them
Disabled in Endgame means that the role can't be used once there is only 1 mafia remaining
Full role flips are enabled
If the Mafia Universal Backup decides to back up the Mafia PR Killer, then the number of remaining shots will also be inherited - this means if the PR killer has used 1 shot and died, then if the backup chooses to back up the PR killer, the Backup will still have zero shots remaining
The Town JOAT's Doctor action can protect against both the Mafia Power Role Killerand the regular mafia factional kill, which includes protecting the target if both kills are stacked on one player
When the Mafia Universal Backup uses their action to back up a mafia role, that action will not count as motion to the Town Motion Detector

Signups are open to anyone who was an active participant in #champs-spectators for Season 10 of the Mafia Championships. Preference will be given to more active participants, and to non-qualifier-playing participants over those who participated in the Championship so far this season. These restrictions will be relaxed if necessary to ensure game fills and fires on time!
