I already stated in dead chat that I really wish that I got more motivation to do things in this game to make myself more readable and findable as town. Everyone in the game and the game itself were great. Unfortunately I couldn't get any energy to produce more for town.

Glad I used my ability and mechs well though and cleared a town that was POE'd and end gamed.

We can see you're eating a hot dog under there, Pat. You're hungry and you're tired of people scheduling over your lunch. You CAN'T skip lunch guys, you just CAN'T. And you're going to make them pay.

Your abilities are:

i) If you are alive on day 2, players will be informed of an ITA Session at 12 Noon Eastern Time. Lunch.

ii) You know this ITA session is fake. No one will die from ita shots. But someone will be awarded with a vig. You may choose whether the person targeted the most will BE vigged or if they will RECEIVE a vig. You may submit this during the day up until 11:30 AM Eastern.

After the elimination on day 1, you are aware there will be a focus group held wherein 4 other players will be included. The focus group will be centered around creating a brand new role for a mafia game. You can also discuss the game. You will have the chat until SOD2. Your goal is to do the best at this.

At the end of the focus group, everyone will vote on who did the worst or was a teacher's pet! It is vital you are not chosen for this, because then you will have to marry your mother in law, which means you will die immediately and your alignment will not be revealed. You may not claim any part of your role at any time or you will be modkilled.

In addition to auto entry, you have the following ability:

i) Stinky! You may select one player you deem 'Paul' who will join the night chat. If you can convince the others that his ideas SUCK or that he's distracting everyone because this guy keep farting, you will gain the chance to decide his fate with an unblockable dayvig.

Some notable actions that happened during the game from the mod POV:

-Wolves did not opt to anti-spew with the Toilet Truck role and target themselves or holster/fake being targeted with it. I am not sure this mattered much, but it is a good thing they did not do it night 0 as Wiggles was very certain he'd caught Lily based on her opening post being "I AM TOILET TRUCK. BEEP BEEP." I laughed very hard at all of the "I AM TOILET TRUCK" posts, but especially MarkoRaj's when he entered the thread with it in the middle of Wiggles/Lily's discussion day 2. Perfect timing, one might call it serendipity.

-Marluxion spewed pretty hard he did not want to be baby of the year. I think its a stretch for the wolves to put the idea together that this happening would have gotten him killed, but I do wonder what happens if wolves get alittle more fancy with their BOTY votes in general. I think they briefly thought about doing this and electing someone else but it didn't happen. I think in general causing a little chaos and force voting in someone besides Hallia could be fun but I understand why wolves were cautious about this.

-neil chose Hallia as it's 'Paul' auto-selection into the focus group. I was surprised it still proceeded to vote Hallia to marry her mother-in-law and secure a dayvig on Hallia, which it then holstered for 3 days until blasting Hallia into orbit on day 4. This is another action I thought was purely 'wtf' but I think ultimately it ended up working out in villa's favor.

-Wolves chose not to use the vigilante shot baudib earned on day 2. Because of the wording I used, this could not be carried over to further nights without trolling the game (A mistake vis-a-vis allowing neil to carry its dayvig over, but c'est la vie). This game plays SO differently if baudib shoots, either bussing Kajot or just outting as a wolf and shooting a clear. I am not sure this changes the game state, but the game at least plays a lot differently. Would be curious to peek into those universes to see how things unraveled.

-Wolves also chose not to janitor Michelle for the lunch day 1. I think i'd have yolo'd it. They were banking on the green flip giving them a chance to push ladd/dya/wiggles, which is fair enough, but I think leaving the village in the clouds d1 is a good way to ensure you actually get more value day 2 with the perceived 'winning poe' for wolves.

-Wolves peeked lily n0 and knew she could search wolfchat if she lived long enough and killed a few wolves. The wolves proceeded to sabotage wolfchat search results, which was goddamn hilarious.

-Village really lucked out that Hallia yolo'd to find Dyachei n2. Both had the list narrowed to about 4 or 5 players. Dya's initial action would have gotten it down to 2, but then they changed it to select Marl. Hallia went all in on it being Dya and I firmly believe this won the game because they were not only able to get their 2 KP off (which i expected these roles MAYBE get 1 KP), but they also got to sort out the difference check on day 3 between Beck and Neil. If Beck/Neil difference was prolonged until the day 3 elimination, whether or not Beck/Neil won that battle, it saves a wolf another day and that is probably enough to get wolves a win, IMO. You could argue that maybe Brad doesn't get shot in that scenario, but I still think wolves would be able to make it to a winnable MYLO situation and probably pull it out.

-A few villagers did not do what was required in order to earn their night actions. Hard to really know if this was balanced because of that. But I really don't think I asked too much of them in order to get potentially very good actions? I throw this question to the player list I suppose -- do you like these flavor themed roles in order to earn your action? Pandoras/Michelle are the two i'm thinking of. Porscha's action was a bit of a troll (but even though Chode jeans did nothing, I think its still a way to mechanically confirm an action so it has SOME value at least.), so I don't blame her for not doing it. Also she missed day 1 so no biggie.

Mod notes I had:

-The day 2 fake ITAs coupled with Fake Death reveal of Beck sucked and really killed the thread. I'm sorry about that guys, my bad. I should have spaced that across days or just used one of them.

-I know some of the claim restrictions in this game were annoying, but I really did not want this game to turn into a claimfest, nor did I want to include an anti-claim mechanic in a 17 player game. I appreciate you all working around your claims despite how clunky that was.

-I hope you all had fun. This was way more about that than anything else. I know many of you didn't know the lore/flavor, but I hope you still enjoyed the mechanics and reveals. For those who did know the flavor, I hope this game felt better than just a dumb game with dumb flavor, but i'll accept that if you still had a good time.

I had a few thoughts on role changes and whatnot, but nothing major. I've shared them in DVC already, but overall i'm mostly happy with the roleset for a semi-bastard nearly role-madness game I threw together quickly. Many many many thanks to @katze who was an awesome co-mod as always and had some great role additions.. And many many thanks to @Haru Okumura who helped with game design and funny ideas a ton.

Fair enough. The redacted portion of your prize would have been if you really went hard on it, but i'd have accepted just a few posts of 'wagon analysis' for the other.

Losing Beck and his ability was brutal. It was a combination of not killing Wiggles n1/fake reveal/parity check/Hallia+Dya finding each other so quickly. I think we got unlucky that our first two rolecops were Lily/Marko, it lulled us into a false sense of security that the village roles weren’t that strong.
I also think the flip on the vig was crucial, if it gets awarded to Kajot and I get launched and she shoots Porscha it’s a different game.

Overall I think the game was very well balanced and a ton of fun. Village played great and deserved to win. Kajot was in a rough spot and gave it her all. Very fun wolf team too. Very few regrets really.

Looking over it, and this is just my personal take if I received any of these roles, Michelle's action seems completely fine and fun. I can potentially see myself getting a bit worried by seeing PA's action and then thinking it requires more than it realistically does, but that would probably be a flaw in interpreting it then. Brad's Santa-assignment was also cool imo, even when it came without a reward!
