Season 4, Game 5: So You Think You Can Be Super? [The Mafia Championship]

I expect to see at least three, if not all four, of rob/DS/Dels/Trash in the WC games.

I think there are a lot of other contenders from our game as well.

I know Shrek bamboozled himself but he did put a lot of effort into The Wall and was well town read up to that point. I honestly had a hard time turning against him that day bc I still felt he was super town off his D1 ignoring me hinting he was maf. I think with a bit of refinement onto his reads he would be pretty fearsome to go against as scum!

Folks like English and Lags can't be ruled out of WC either. English adjusted his posting style to better gel with the rest if the village and he had sharp points.

I think Dimi deserves some props for being deemed mislynch bait most of the game but never actually being mislynched as well!

Also I love how petty Dels and Trash were being about their nk targets in scum chat. Like genuinely that was a good read. Gave me a little ego boost that yall considered killing me so many times, didn't, and I caught onto Trash in LYLO

Honestly your kill pattern was some mad solid mindgames. Props.

I don't have a clue how you got away with all that vote hopping near ends of days, I was SURE every night "THIS will be the day they finally turn on Yeti" and it just never happened.

Well, until it did. And then it really did.

But yeah, I dunno, I think this game has proven that you don't need to kill off the most active townies, even if they are among the best players. Rob got lynched, Yeti got to L-1 once, and then either got lynched/didn't/came close to being lynched, depending on how you view the endgame.

It's more fun to keep people like Rob and Yeti alive. I don't really like punishing active players for being active, and also I don't think they are always the scariest, especially if they can be mislynched.

Fred and Prem and English were probably never gonna be mislynched. (I say this, but I also would've bet on Shrek never being mislynched, so who knows)

Plus, as mafia, I want to see if I can go head-to-head with players like Yeti and Rob. I got both of them to reconsider on me day 4 to varying degrees, I have to say I am proud of that, even if it came about thanks to being saved by Barry. Mafia is about winning but also about fun and challenging yourself, so... it all worked out.

Obviously late to this, but just wanted to give my own quick input.

This was clearly an angleshoot/abuse of the software in place. If the game/voting was run by a human and NOT automated, the result would have been a mafia win. On other forums, that crap wouldn't fly. I think Thingyman is a great guy and that he doesn't have any sort of negative intent, I just disagree with this decision.

Here I am coming in late, I needed a lot of sleep after the game xD

I would definitely love a reunion game! I would hope though I'd finally be off my meds so my memory is a bit better and not as clouded. Man that made me look scummy AF. And it made me want to ATE every darn time. I was glad I made it so far, because there were less players my game got a bit better again lol!
